How to unlock the Military Complex achievement in Quake - Definitive Guide

PC PLAYERS:
1. go to new game
2. select single player and Scourge of Armagon
3. Hit the ~ key and enter "map hip1m2"
4. turn on "god" and "noclip"
5. From your exact starting location the teleporter you are looking for is almost exactly 45 degrees north west (assume forward is north). It is on the same plane as your starting location. Simply turn to left about 40 to 45 degree and you will see it on the edge of the map.

I appreciate you making all these guides, and unsure why you're getting so much hate. Just don't start the game if you only have a console. ... In addition to that, I have no idea why so many people buy consoles before they buy PC's. Consoles are only good for gaming, but a computer is important for many things.

They are mad they can't use the console commands so take it out their frustration by downvoting me. Or people don't actually realize that xbox games are on PC. Some other guides had people who truly didn't understand that Quake for Xbox is on PC.

Don't forget to use "sv_cheats 1" to be able to use god and noclip, then turn them off when you reach the exit and then use "sv_cheats 0" before jumping onto the endpoint.

It isn't Play Anywhere. Its a separate purchase on PC that shares a list with the Xbox version, similar to Ori 1 and Quantum Break. If you don't have Game Pass, or just have Game Pass on Xbox then these PC guides aren't very helpful.

@Yug1D0rk Thank you for your comment. But, no. The PC and Xbox version have the SAME stack. Therefore they are the SAME game in the eyes of TA. TA has already commented about half the solutions on Quake stately explicitly these guides are in the right place and here to stay. And as far as I can see, this is a play anywhere title. You can see plain as day on the official Xbox/MS store page listing that if you buy quake you can play it on Xbox or PC. https://www.xbox.com/en-CA/games/store/quake/9P1Z43KRNQD4/00...

The secret exit for Scourge of Armagon Episode 1 is found in HIP1M2: Storage Facility. This is a written guide + images to find the secret exit, a video clip is also provided at the bottom if you prefer.

As your progress through the level you will find the gold key on a raised walkway in a room full of crates. From here follow the walkway to a hallway that leads to a new weapon for this episode, the Proximity Launcher.

Grab the new weapon and immediately turn left to the panel as it opens. You'll notice a red target button on the wall ahead. A few enemies have spawned below so take them out, then launch a proximity mine so it lands on the button.

Now run down the hallway directly below the button. Follow it along the force bridge that you activated earlier and keep going right around until you reach the edge where the silver key was. There's a door across you can't reach, just wait a bit and eventually the mine will explode, trigger the button, and activate a bridge to the door.

Quickly run across and down the hallway to find the secret exit.

Worked like a charm for me, just wanted to note that the name of the level is Storage Facility; Hell's Atrium is the name of another level in the Quake campaign.
