How to unlock the Time Lord achievement in Quantum Break - Definitive Guide
Hard is not really hard in this game except the final boss fight. Some users have really problems here, so I have create a short video and write down my strategy. Honestly you need only the time rush + melee skill and some pistol bullets to kill the boss easily ;)
First of all, you can not damage the boss directly. First you have to clear the enemies in this area and avoid the bombs from the boss.
My strategy uses only time rush and melee skill (Hold LB + B near an enemy). Melee works only in combination with time rush and kills enemies instantly with one hit. After the cutscene run down the ramp with time rush and melee the first enemy in front of you. Get in cover and let time rush refill to 25% it can be used again. Use time vision to detect the remaining enemies and kill them all using time rush and melee. The most important thing is to avoid the red bombs on the ground from the boss. If you stay longer on a position he will throw the bombs and you will die instantly.
The best way to avoid bombs thrown at you is using time dodge (push LB short)
After you kill the first 3-4 enemies the boss switches the position and throws a giant bomb on the ground, run away as far as possible! After the bomb detonates go back and the boss becomes vulnerable, shoot him with your pistol, one shot is enough.
That was the first of two rounds. The second round starts now and more enemies arrive at the swimming pool. Once again use time rush and melee to kill all of them and the boss will start to use the giant bomb but this times he throws 3 bombs instead of one! So you have to run from one end to the other and back to avoid the explosions. If you have managed to avoid all 3 bombs you can shoot the boss again one time and the fight is over.
Zasta 360GameTV, you are all right when you wrot that. But I think you should write more specific . for exemple: "don't play only all chapter 5 mission, you need to go to timeline and choose the chapter 1 and play on hard level you must play chapter 1-1, 1-2, 1-3; 2-1 ........ until the chapter 5-3" and beat the game all on hard level". All this that I wrote here matches what you wrote "all the chapters".
anyways. Sorry for that. My english is not so perfet.

TIPS -
About Me - http://www.about.me/scratch
I tried just finishing Act 5 on Hard to see if it would pop, sadly it didn't and you have to see the game to the very end to pop the achievement (despite the menu saying it has been finished on Hard).
Also use your Time Vision when running around the pool to keep an eye on the Monarch Agents reason being is Pauls bombs can kill the agents so he could put out one of those big bombs and kill you when you thought there was still Monarchs there can be frustrating took me 4 attempts to do this 1 attempt when using this method...... Good luck
When first starting the game, I recommend going on Hard difficulty as the game is not that difficult to beat even with stock Jack. But if you do find yourself intimidated by it, here are a few tips to get by with hardly no trouble.
Set Aim Assist to "FULL" (under GAMEPLAY) as you can line someone up and you can snap-aim them for good hits.
Make use of Time Vision () as it will show you on the locations of the enemy for you to map out your plan of assault.
When going up against Monarch heavies (light machine gun, shotgun and grenade launchers), using Time Dodge and Time Rush is key as they move closer to you, they can destroy your cover. If that being the case, use Time Shield and Time Dodge or Rush out of there. Some heavies require you to shoot them in the back. Don't press your luck; once your Time powers fade, they can turn around and obliterate you.
Avoid the sniper laser sight at all costs as it will instantly kill you.
Avoid hiding behind breakable cover unless your health is in the red.
When going up against Paul Serene in the final Act and he is exploding with rage, Time Rush to the opposite end in the area to avoid his blast radius while you avoid his heavies and Chronon harness-wearing soldiers. His explosions will instantly kill you. If you stay in one spot long enough, Paul will unleash his Time powers at you. Once he has exhausted his powers, this will be your time to unload on him.
This tactic is passed the first time.
Playing on the Hard level is actually very easy. I didn't see any difference at all. Unless it's the final boss, and that's only because all the mechanics are unknown throughout the entire battle.
