How to unlock the For Your Eyes Only achievement in Quantum of Solace - Definitive Guide

The cameras for this achievement appear in only 4 levels during the game.

4 in Opera House
3 in Science Center Interior
4 in Miama Airport
2 in Barge

You're looking for the cameras with a light that blinks green and red. Solid green lights mean the camera won't count, and can't even be disabled. The ones with blinking red can spot you, and will call for "Elite Guards" should you get seen.

There are two ways to find the cameras. The first is to keep an eye out. Look for the moving light on the ground and when you see it look for the camera. Find the camera box and move to it without being seen to open it and disable it.

The second is just go through the levels haphazardly, and when one spots you simply let the Elite Guards kill you and go to the last checkpoint, remembering where the camera is.

You only need 10 of the 13 cameras. A good chunk of the cameras are simply hard to miss, especially in Opera House and Miami Airport.

Now if you miss one of the 10, do you have to go back and complete ALL ten again?

OR you could just look at you phone and then show up as a red triangle of light (well they do on the Opera house level anyway).

Well after about 8+ years of me trying to do this. I am pleased to say that I got this achievement today and I'm finally done with this game. For a long time I've had this achievement glitched on me and I've tried many methods into getting it. This includes signing in my profile on a different XBox, recovering it on a different XBox, using different profiles and much more. I was close to giving up but we discovered one method which was on xboxachievements.com...

http://www.xboxachievements.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10614...

And believe it or not... IT WORKED!! I was surprised and shocked that it worked. Now I finally have 1000G on this game and I can now get rid of this game for good.

I would like to also give credit to my brother BulgyDragonZord for spending so much time helping me out in getting this achievement.

So the story with the achievement is if you we're to grab any Cell Phones throughout your playthrough, it will likely glitch out this achievement completely and you will not be able to get it. If you have tried multiple times to get the achievement and fail, then here is my step-by-step guide I did to help get the achievement done. Remember though that it has to be 10 unique cameras, not 10 of the same cameras that need to be disabled.

1. You will need a 2nd Controller.

2. Sign in your Main Profile as Controller 1. Sign in a Offline Profile as the 2nd Controller. The 2nd Controller Profile does not need access to XBox Live.

3. Load up the game as the 2nd Controller from the XBox 360 Dashboard.

4. Let the game load and start-up the first mission of the game. Once it's loaded, go for this achievement as it's the easiest of the lot...

Quantum of SolaceLicence to KillThe Licence to Kill achievement in Quantum of Solace worth 10 pointsDefeat an enemy with one shot.

If you manage to get it for your Offline Profile, it means the glitch can take effect and it works.

5. Press cn_start and choose to "Save & Quit". You will be returned to the Main Menu of the game. From here choose "Multiplayer" and choose "XBox Live". Because it's an offline profile, you will not be able to access this feature.

6. Press cn_B to return to the Main Menu and then press cn_B to return to the Press Start screen. You will be asked to choose a Storage Device. Choose the device that has your Main Profile's saved data stored on.

7. Press cn_start as your Main Profile and then choose your Storage Device that has the Saved Data. Choose the same device that has your Offline Profile saved data stored on.

8. Choose the level "White Estate" and playthrough the game in strict order. Do not choose the levels that have the Cameras as I do not think that will work. You have to pretend that the game is thinking that you are still being played with your offline profile. You can choose the easiest difficulty.

9. You need to then note if there are any Cell Phones scattered around the game. If there is, it means the glitch has worked and you can continue with the game. For the time being though, do not pick-up any Cell Phones.

10. When you reach the levels that have the Cameras, disable them with the cn_X button and then continue through. Keep counting how many you have disabled. Once you have your 10th one disabled, the achievement should unlock. There are 13 in the game. If it doesn't unlock, then you are doing something that's incorrect.
I personally got the achievement after playing through the Miami Aiport Level in the game.

This method will also work if you do not get this achievement neither, but the rules would be to pick-up the Cell Phones as you playthrough the game instead...

Well anyway, I hope this helps and I'm glad I got this achievement done. Good Luck if you are stuck on the game with this damn glitched achievement.

When you see a camera it should have a yellow box close to it.Just walk up to it and hit (x)....Do this 10 times total. There 13 cameras in the game so you can miss 3 and still get this achievement.

You should get this trophy naturally whilst progressing through the game. You can disable cameras either by shooting them or finding and disabling their circuit boards. Note that shooting cameras alerts nearby enemies, whereas disabling them electronically does not, and so I recommend this option for stealth.

Cameras are disabled via yellow junction boxes located below or near to the cameras themselves. You will more than likely disable the required number through the course of two play-throughs.

Alternatively, you could use level select to accumulate the number needed. That should not really be necessary though.

This achievement is very easy to get. Cameras are on walls and the direction they are pointing moves around. It will show as a light on the ground but if you press the Back button you can see where exactly the camera is pointing on your map. To disable a camera, you have to find a yellowish box on the wall somewhere around the camera. The boxes are not always right under the camera but you should see them very easily. Just go up to the box without letting the camera see you and press X to disable it. If the camera sees you, you have a couple seconds to get a way before enemies come to kill you.

In the whole game there are 13 cameras that you can disable so you don’t have to disable every one that you come across. You can get this faster by hacking a camera and then reload your last checkpoint and hack the same camera. Do this 10 times and you have the achievement.
