How to unlock the Four's a Crowd achievement in Quarrel - Definitive Guide

A prisoner is captured at any time you beat the opponent's word while undermanned (one or more soldiers less than the opponent), both while attacking or defending.
The easiest place to achieve this is in the 3rd round of Domination - Calamari Cove. Your three opponents are not very tough, and miss a lot of easy words.
Since you play last, it is very likely that some of the other players will attack you with an extra soldier, defend yourself and you'll take one soldier prisoner. Once it's your turn, aim to attack the remaining opponents while undermanned.
The achievement unlocks in the match, as soon as the third prisoner is taken.

you can also get this in the challenge Convict Capture!
these challenges are geared towards taking prisoners so you should have no problems getting one from each opponent.

Confirmed, but something to add: You can't just capture a prisoner from each player, you have to keep it.

In my attempt I got one prisoner from both Malik and Damien, but then tied Troy and was beaten on time so my units were lost. I used my second set and gunned straight for Troy. I took a prisoner from him, but the achievement did not pop. I continued on to take a new set of prisoners from Malik and Damien, and as soon as I did the achievement popped.

To capture a troop from an opposing player, you would have to win a Quarrel and you'll get prisoners based on how much more the losing player's troops in a territory than your troops in a territory. (Example: Losing player has 5 troops, winning player has 4 troops, so the winning player gets 1 prisoner from the losing player)

Keep in mind you would have to keep the prisoners from the 3 opposing players from being killed by someone else. So, if you lose a prisoner(s), then you'll have to get one of each unless if one or 2 opposing players lost the game.

If you're having trouble trying to win the Quarrels, there is a website that'll unscramble the letters the game gives you: https://www.thewordfinder.com/anagram-solver/

Easily done within Challenge Mode, "Blaze Away!".

The challenge itself it to complete the map in one turn. Take the opportunity to match yourself up against a tougher opponent. The AI on this challenge hardly puts up a fight and you can easily capture Quarrels from each and every player. Follow the path below for best results.
