How to unlock the R.B.I. Ribbie King achievement in R.B.I. Baseball 21 - Definitive Guide

Play yourself (controller 1) vs another user (your second controller)
Make yourself the road team and the other controller the home team.
1 inning. Mercy rule off.
Go to about 100 then get yourself out and end the game so it saves.
The game is known to glitch if you quit out before ending the game so you want to make sure you finish it.

You can load the bases then bunt the runs in and that will work overtime, but I find that using the RB button to intentional walk or hitting the batter is faster. The RB button is good for multitasking as you can be watching TV and hitting RB then a over and over. I found I was getting around 100 RBIS per 15 minutes doing it this way.

A turbo controller also works by turboing A on the second controller and then pushing your controller stick to one time with a rubber band, but you have to make sure the first controller doesn't shut off and end the game after 100 to avoid glitches.

So therefore out of the three methods I find the most efficient to be the pressing RB and A to get the RBI the fastest.

I did do some testing though and I was able to get this many RBI with a turbo controller on a and the stick rubber banded all the way left:

so thats about 2 hrs for 1,000 RBI. However the RB + A for 15 mins per 100 RBI = 150 minutes which is about 2 hrs 30 minutes so even without a turbo controller you can go from 0 to 1,000 in under 3 hours.

I recommend leaving this achievement until last as all the runs you drive in in other modes count toward this. When you only have this left, you can play an exhibition game with 2 controllers. Be the road team and just keep bunting with cn_B over and over till you make 3 outs. Then get the 3 outs quickly in the bottom of the inning to complete the mercy win and just keep repeating this.

Make sure you finish the game or the runs won’t count. The tracker will move while you’re getting the runs, but it’ll stop moving in the next game(s) until you make up the runs you lost by quitting out.

Due to being scared of glitches causing lost progress, I intentionally didn't turn off the mercy rule. I've been burned by this franchise too many times. But glad that was working for you. In the past I've done ~50 runs at a time but had several freezes and stuck animations that required restarting the game this year so didn't want to risk it.

remove mercy rule and gain like 2-3% each inning i score like 160-186 pts every game
45min/game not so bad

A much much faster way is to just keep hitting the batter with the 2nd controller by pitch & keep racking up RBIs. No bunts of innings over neccessary.

I suggest to turn on the tracker as the tracking on this can be glitchy. I’ve had it not move for 40+ RBIs then move 1% for the next 10, within the same game. Once it’s tracking within a game it seems to keep going for the rest of the game.

Hitting the batter is definitely the fastest, I timed 100 rbi in just over 10 minutes.

Hitting works, but I was finding intentional walk with RB and confirming with A to be the fastest. I did a lot of it while watching TV so didn't have to pay too much attention to the game. I would stop the game at 100 runs or so and finish it though.
