How to unlock the Stars hunter achievement in Rabbids Big Bang - Definitive Guide

The description can throw you off a bit. You have to get every star in every level in every world. That's 540 stars total in 180 levels. This certainly isn't the most difficult achievement but it can be time consuming depending on player skill. Practice in different levels with different challenges and this will help you out immensely.

The way the star system works in this game is based on your challenge time. All 180 levels in the game have a timer at the top of the screen that will slowly fill up (or quickly fill up on occasion). The timer basically looks like a pie graph and you must complete the level's challenge before the timer fills up to the second section to get the full 3 stars. If you complete the challenge while the timer is in section two, you will get 2 stars. If the timer fills up completely and turns red, you can only earn 1 star by completing the challenge. So for this Achievement, you're obviously better off just hitting the restart button.

Try and get some practice working on your gravitational pull momentum in the earlier levels before tackling some of the challenges in the later worlds. The difficulty ramps up pretty quick if you ask me. So get your practice in and keep trying. It'll get easier as you learn the proper timing and technique for using the jet pack.

You will also have to upgrade both your jet pack and your bat if you want to beat the later levels. This isn't cheap and you may have to do a bit of grinding eventually. I managed to upgrade both fully before three starring all levels because some levels are just that tricky.

Keep in mind that you can also take the easy way out and buy the black hole power-up for 400 coins. If you have a lot of coins, or you're open to spending real money on coins, it can make almost any challenging level a cakewalk. Please remember that all levels are possible but if you're REALLY struggling, the black hole power-up is incredibly helpful.

Edit: instead of just leaving a negative vote, something that generally works is letting me know why you're downvoting in the comments. I can't fix what you don't tell me. It's like kicking a stranger in the shins and walking away.

Are there any levels good for farming gold to use for the black holes?

Unfortunately, TA has trolls running around whose only contribution to the community is to kick you in the shins and run off! +1 here, good info, and at least it offsets the 1 negative vote!

I appreciate that, and I don't stress too much about that stuff. It's more of how it reflects on my main profile page when my Solution Vote Ratio drops down to Medium from High that's annoying. But oh well, what can you do :)

Contemplating starting the game. How much time do you think this achievement takes?

The only levels I'm having trouble getting 3 stars on are 9-13 and 9-14. How did you manage those, what planets did you tackle first?

I finally made it. In case anyone else comes here wondering: It took me many attempts, especially flying through all 4 atmospheres was hard. I aimed at the upper right planet first, then flew to the others counter-clockwise.

They aren't unobtainable, they justmight take some extra time to pop. I waited a week or more in some cases.

As an aside, I found a particularly nasty glitch, in case anyone else runs here to find out. I ended up with a surplus of coins and ended up spamming black hole to complete this game as soon as possible. Might have had something to do with it.

On level 9, Invasion, the gravity was inescapable. You couldn't get off the planet with anything short of black hole. This is a problem, since black hole can't get you the speed levels. However, if you completely shut the game down and kill it in Task Manager, it resets the gravity to proper levels.

@DrCanadianNinja: Many thanks for the tip. I was having problems with the speed challenges after using black hole for a while.

By the way, there are 12 stages, with 15 levels each with 3 stars on each. That's 180 levels and 540 stars

There were only 10 when I originally wrote those. I'll fix it now, thanks!

Just as a tip, found that if you need coin for the black hole, you can replay easy levels, but the gold return gets less each time you beat it. So you can 3 star the level about 4 times before the gold drops to its lowest. I did this on the early levels and kept moving to the next level each time it hit it lowest until I had enough for the black hole.

For the speed challenges you can use the super jetpack boost to make them really easy.

Level 11-7 is killing me. Black Hole is no help. Most I can get is 2 stars. I'm currently stuck at 539/540

In case anyone else is like me and has no idea how to find the powerups, they're the hexagons top left next to the pause button, before you fire off your rabbid.

I have finished all 12 worlds and 3 stared each level but both achievements for completing and 3staring did not unlock. Not in game, not on live. Is there something I can do?

@IRL Games X - if that is the case, it definitely adds a lot more difficulty to the achievement.

The black hole power-up is still there. You click on the hexagon in the top left corner and the different power-ups are in there. Still costs 400 coins. I just went through 60 levels using the black hole on almost every level.

Confirmed General Tynstar's comment. In-level power-ups are different from the store power-ups, and black holes are absolutely there.

This achievement requires that you earn 3 stars on ALL 150 levels of the game (450 total stars). Simply completing all the levels (with at least one star) will unlock the "BRAVO !" achievement. Earning stars in the game is entirely related to how quickly you can complete the lone objective of each level. In the top middle of the screen is a timer. For 3 stars, you will need to complete the level when the timer is in the green. For 2 stars, in the yellow, and for 1 star you will only need to complete the level (timer will be red). There are 10 worlds (with 15 levels a pop), and each unlocks when you earn a cumulative total of stars, the last of which being Cow Panic which unlocks at 350 stars. Initially only the first level of each world will become unlocked. Subsequent levels are unlocked by completing (earning at least one star) in the previous level.

When you start out playing the game, earning 3 stars on some levels will be quite challenging. Your goal initially should be to gather as many stars as you can easily get, progressing far enough to unlock the Far Side world (requires 260 stars). Then play through to Far Side 15. This is the best level in the game to grind coins. See the "Best Coin Grinding Method" section at the end of the Roadmap for more information. After you get enough coins, you can fully upgrade you jetpack and bat to make earning 3 stars on all of the levels very easy in most cases. There will still be a few levels that are challenging. It is advisable that you grind some additional coins to purchase power-ups when you need them. Power-ups can make very difficult levels a breeze. The two most useful power-ups for you will be "Win 8 coins for the price of 1" and "Guide the Rabbit where you want to." The former will be useful on level where the objective is to collect a certain amount of coins. The latter is useful for just about every level (especially the 15th level of each world), but is relatively pricey at 500 coins per usage.

With your gear maxed out and some upgrades at your disposal, earning 3 stars on each level becomes quite straightforward and simple. The game is relatively new and unpopular, so there are no walkthrough videos available. Even if there was, they might not be all that useful due to the precision and timing needed to complete each level anyways.
