This is the first minigame you come to if you play the adventure mode. You just need to stay on the platform as long as you can. This is very simple against easy AI, and of course even easier if you are playing with multiple controllers.

I find rotating your ball in a circle in the middle tends to help you avoiding getting knocked off the edge. Try to stay as central as possible and if you get a chance you can try to knock them off but don't try to hard or you could also fall yourself.

In this mini game you use

If you aim to stay alive until the end and push all of your opponents off until they have no more lives, you will get way more than 2500 points.
