How to unlock the Champ for Life achievement in Race Pro - Definitive Guide

I'd suggest doing this in the Mini class, since you still don't spin out and having all the other aids off doesn't make much difference since you don't have enough power or speed to do any sliding ;)

You can still lower some settings in Professional, making it a bit easier, and DEFINITELY turn down the number of opponents to 1, that way you really can just cock-block him the whole way around the track if needs be.

Done correctly (in that you win all races) you can also unlock:
Race ProChampionship ContenderThe Championship Contender achievement in Race Pro worth 37 pointsComplete a full championship

and
Race ProThe ChampThe The Champ achievement in Race Pro worth 56 pointsFinish 1st in a championship

can you lose some races as long as you have the overall top amount of points?

To be honest, I can't 100% remember. It's not too hard to win them all, especially if you just block him from overtaking you. I won them all just to be sure.

I won the first 4, the came 2nd (last as I only had one opponent) for the last 3 and still got the achievement, so I'm assuming you only need to win overall not every race.

You can also combine this achievement with the Pro Wins on the different tracks..

Like Gizmo2k says, do the Mini Championship. 1 Lap and 1 Opponent.
If you've played a bit of the game it shoudn't be too difficult.
It consist of 7 races only. All others have more races to do.

The tracks in this championship is:
Race ProRoad America WinThe Road America Win achievement in Race Pro worth 41 pointsFinish 1st on Road America in Pro

Race ProCuritiba WinThe Curitiba Win achievement in Race Pro worth 39 pointsFinish 1st on Curitiba in Pro

Race ProOschersleben WinThe Oschersleben Win achievement in Race Pro worth 40 pointsFinish 1st on Oschersleben in Pro

Race ProPau WinThe Pau Win achievement in Race Pro worth 40 pointsFinish 1st on Pau in Pro

Race ProLaguna Seca WinThe Laguna Seca Win achievement in Race Pro worth 39 pointsFinish 1st on Laguna Seca in Pro

Race ProBrands Hatch WinThe Brands Hatch Win achievement in Race Pro worth 39 pointsFinish 1st on Brands hatch in Pro

Race ProPorto WinThe Porto Win achievement in Race Pro worth 41 pointsFinish 1st on Porto in Pro

This way you don't have to drive these races twice on Professional

The races don't count for the "[Track name] Win" achievements. I just completed a championship on Pro and didn't get the achievements for the individual wins.

Really? That's weird cos I did..
That's why I made this solution

Maybe the cheevos in this game is as glitchy as the game is crappy..
The one for online wins first popped at 54 races for me

I did the second championship and won 8 out of 10 races on pro. I got the "Champ for Life" achievement, but not the individual track ones. I had to do them in single race (like the win and no contact/damage one). I never heard of anyone unlocking the Pro wins outside of single races (walkthrough on here and guide on x360a don't mention it) so I was looking forward for this. Maybe you just got lucky. It would be good to get a second opinion from someone else.

See "Championship Contender" for information on championships. With this, you'll need to ensure you are on 'Professional' difficulty. Change some settings to make things easier, if you like. This also unlocks "Championship Contender".
