Best way to get this is with a boosting partner. We did it like this:
Choose 1 lap in Curitiba, i think it´s the shortest and easiest track and choose F3000 cars. When you get to the qualifying lap just drive into the pit the wrong way. You will both get disqualified and save a lot of time. But even then the 50 wins (with 2 players it´s 100 races) will take a long time, just be patient and watch a few good movies while you´re waiting.
//edit: as several players have mentioned, the F3000 cars are not unlocked from the start. Either wait until you get them or use slower cars for boosting.

I think your win total is stored locally because I accidentally deleted all my saves for every game I owned - including this one, which I had won about 25 ranked races. Then when I resumed boosting, it didn't unlock until I won 52 additional races. God this game sucks...

Okay, just want to add a few things to the solution Superschrubber made. So play Curitiba, F3000 cars, drive into the pit the wrong way or on the track for an amount of time to get disqualified, then race.
First of all, when you are boosting this in the way he stated, make sure that you both finish the race!!!
When you finish, it will count toward your "complete" achievement. But only when the other finishes it will also count towards the "finish 1st & host" achievements.
Second, this is going to take a very long time... you can average about 10/12 races in one hour. But with a 100 races to play till both get the achievement... don't fall asleep ;-)

You can attempt to finish first in 50 different ranked matches. This will prove a little time consuming. You may want to organize with a friend to help you out. To speed things up, disqualify yourself in qualification - and get your partner to do so - by driving in the wrong direction for about ten seconds. Doing this will put you into the race and so you have saved time by not having to do the full qualifying lap.

just to add which is probably the most important. once one person gets the host 50 matches and won 50 matches the other person who still needs to get those achievements will need to do it with another Xbox gamertag because if you are doing it with the same account it won’t count due to corruption of saves for some reason the game registers 50 wins and hosts only I tryed helping a mate out and he didn’t get the achievements because of that reason when I signed in another gamertag he got the achievements straight away.
This only affects ranked matches but player matches are fine because mate unlocked all the player match achievements with no problems at all and that was with the same account as the ranked matches
