Continue playing career mode. You will get an invite to "Stand-in" for another driver. Complete the Stand-in requirements and get the achievement.
Thorpe
This achievement will become available in career (it will notify you). After you have completed all C races, you can become a 'stand-in'. Make sure you meet requirements to earn more credits.

After you have completed the A, B and C groups in career, you will get a message that reads:
“Desafio Virtual Racing Team needs a driver to stand in for their regular driver for a Single Race. They will pay you 150 Credits if you can finish in the top three places.
You will find this stand-in contract in the Group C Career contract group.”
Go back into Group C and you will have the ability to play the stand-in contact race.
There are other opportunities later on in the career to do more stand-in contracts, but it’s advisable to get this done and out of the way with, as soon as possible.
Complete the race, and the achievement will then unlock.
