So the way you get this is that you need to upgrade the Turret Schematic to level 5. THEN shoot it above an enemy.

You buy the schematics from Oasis Trading Post, Lagooney at Boomer's Goods, Dreadwood Market and The Traveling Merchant.

Once you do that If you are having trouble with the enemies kicking or throwing the turret back at you use Vortex to suck everything together and shoot the turret so the boom kills them all.

In this video guide I will show you how you can easily get a kill with the turret drone explosion. Now first thing, is your going to need to upgrade it all the way for this to work. You need to find schematics to do so. The first one i got was from the wandering trader. And almost all the towns where you go to stores they have one as well. Check video to see exactly where.

Once it is level 5 you can now pick a spot to try and get the kill. Preferably that if you saved any weaker take over bases. Go to one of those and once you deploy the drone near someone your going to want to shoot it. Try to see if you can get a group of enemies together. Remember if you want to get a good group go to the mutants lairs and they will all surround you. Once you shoot the drone pay attention to see if the kill maker popped up. If not try again. It may take several attempts just so you can weaken them to the point of low health. The drone explosion is not that powerful. Once you get the kill marker the achievement will pop. It may be a bit laggy so be prepared for that.

This achievement needs you to collect all of the upgrades for the turret drone before the drone is even able to explode when destroyed. There are 4 in total, which will have timestamps with the video below. After you have it upgraded. Find a place with a group of enemies (Mutie nests are always a good pick) and throw it into the center. Once it's in there quickly shoot it and incinerate them so that they may pay for their sins or whatever.

here is how I just got it...…….

found a group of humans.
killed all but one.
used Vortex (LB+Y) on the last one.
immediately threw and shot a drone whilst said victim was floating.

The best place (that's almost impossible not to get this achievement) is a Mutie Nest. As long as you've got the turrent to level 5 so it explodes on destruction, this is really easy at the nests because the enemies swarm you and are also very weak. Just throw your turrent towards the group of enemies then fire your shotgun at it. It's almost guaranteed you'll get it first try. Use these nests for the 2 kills with the Hyper Cannon chievo as well.

Not adding much the other guides haven't already. But I had trouble with this one. I went into groups of enemies and threw my drone out, shot my drone and had obvious kills with it's explosion and they were not counting. I ended up going to a recharge station in the dune sea so that I was around a lot of aggressive enemies at once. The enemies here were a lot tougher than normal enemies because of the armor. But I got it after one go here.

And as the other guy said you need to have it upgraded to level 5. Make sure you check all the trade town vendors and the traveling vendor for the schematics to upgrade it. Once you buy the schematic it automatically upgrades. Don't forget you can go into your inventory and craft more of the drones or buy them from the town vendors.
