How to unlock the The Bigger They Are... achievement in RAGE 2 - Definitive Guide

First, this achievement is not missable and there are infinite Abadon Mutant Crusher available in the open world.

This solution will explain you the random spawn locations for this achievement.

There are atleast 2 random spawn locations in the world for Abadon Mutant Crusher. The first location is in southeast of the town 'Gunbarrel' in a meteorite craters. The second random spawn location is in the southwest of the town 'Wellspring'.
I found (later) a third random spawn location. Directly above from the first MBTV location in Broken Tract (Picture)

If are the Abadon Mutant Crushers not in these locations fast travel back to the town(s) nearby and come back. The locations are shared with smaller bandit camp activities.

For 'The Bigger They Are' achievement just farm 6 of these crushers (You kill 1 during the story)

There are also 5 fixed locations (mostly in underground, one location in each world region except Broken Tract) with Abadon Mutant Crusher in the world. These locations can you also use for this achievement. These locations are marked on your map after you discovered it with a Mutant icon but honestly it is not necessary to use these locations for the achievement.

You can also get the "Crushed" achievement if you kill one crusher in these locations with the Phoenix (The Phoenix is your start vehicle)

How many reloads should it take to find 1? I'm on 25 reloads now and one still hasnt spawned

I don't know if it has anything to do with it but after fast travelling from the Ghosts DLC island I got a spawn on the second spawn place I looked. Previously never got a spawn no matter how many times I tried.

Hello everybody!

You can kill every crusher you need to kill at the various crusher nests (and 1 in the main story). If you want to see specific map locations, check out my video below and the corresponding time stamps.

GLITCHED

There are only 7 guaranteed spots to kill Crushers in the game:

One is story related.
D and D's Hood contains two crushers and is situated outside. See Crushed.
The other 4 are underground dungeons with the Crusher fight at the end.

Note: There seems to be a potential for this trophy to glitch and not unlock after killing all 7 Crushers. Relying on random spawns is not a great option, make a save before the last one just in case.

The Abadon Mutant Crushers, for the most part are in set locaations, however only 6 such locations exist and as such you will need to kill a seventh Abadon Mutant Crusher that happens to spawn in the world. Luckily there are a few spawn areas that you can repeatedly refresh to try and force one of them to spawn. The 6 guaranteed locations for Abadon Mutant Crushers:

The Ruined Shaft, Twisting Canyons:

The Pain Drain, Torn Plains:

D and D's Hood, The Wilds (2 Abadon Mutant Crushers here):

Filth Hollow, Sekreto Wetlands:

The Motor Tomb, Dune Sea:

A seventh Abadon Mutant Crusher can be found just outside the Mutant Bash TV location in the Broken Tract area of the map, if you head out of the gate and then turn to go North-East, an Abadon Mutant Crusher can sometimes spawn just ahead fighting some mutants. If you go here and there is none, fast travel somewhere else and then back here again to see if it has spawned. Repeat this until it does spawn and then kill it.

At the moment, there are only 7 of them in the game (TWO story ones)
Everyone's location in the video guide
Pay attention to the trophy - Crushed / Destruction
Statistics in the "Factions" tab

For some, the trophy is glitchy, try reloading the save and killing it again, for example the place where TWO Crushers meet at once.

After completing the game, I had 6 killed mutants after passing all the points. I went into New Game+, killed a mutant at the nearest point, and was given a trophy.

The game is buggy with autosaves, also at first the trophy did not drop when I killed the last 7th crusher, I decided to do so, deleted the autosaves on the console, and only then when I killed it again they gave me a prize. Be sure to save the game manually before the crusher.

I fell out before. Most likely, this is what happened. Where are two crushers, I killed one, and the second one killed me, then started killing both again, counted as three.

you can reload the save and kill the same one 7 times. The crushers themselves are very weak on easy level. I got it down in literally 1-2 minutes on easy difficulty. very easy to parry to the sides with a dash

If your trophy is glitched and you noticed late, like me, you killed everyone and only counted 6 and already rewrote the save, then the easiest way is to do everything else, and then start NG+ and kill the first crusher you come across, and in NG+ everything will be marked on the map
