How to unlock the Obsessive Compulsive achievement in RAGE - Definitive Guide

To combine all of the comments and all of the missed content from VogtOrDie's solution, I felt that this was the easiest way.

Note: You may or may not get credit for completing some of these quests/minigames/collectables. This guide is just to show you what is out there and what you need to get to help you towards your 100% completion.

To get 100% in this game, you need to have 130/130 under your stats.
(You WILL get credit for completing these)
Included in this 130 are:
18 Vehicle Jumps
54 Cards (43 on first disc, 11 on second)
19 Recipes

You also need to complete all of the mini-games including:
(These are tricky and may or may not give you credit)

Five Finger Fillet (round 1)
Rage Frenzy (easy also counts)
Tombstone (kill all the mutants atleast once)
Strum (round 1)
Wingstick tutorial

Stanley's three "races"
Wellspring's races
Subway Town's races
(complete all races before blowing up the authority bridge)

Sides quests:
Richard's quest in Wellspring's bar
Both races against Starky (One in Wellspring, the other in Subway Town)
Ramos in the Outrigger settlement (Must be completed before unlocking Wellspring)
Norbu in Subway Town (opposite end of the bar outside the subway train)
Dietrich - The Distillery (opens up after completion of the first main quest in subway town) Also, you get the Secret id room achievement in this place.

All of the Job Board Missions: 9 total ***Courtesy of RaajTM***
(These may or may not give you credit)
- Wellspring
#1 Missing Person - Return to the Ghost Hideout to find them.
#2 Stolen Merchandise - Return to the Wasted Garage for the lifted beer.
#3 Mutant Menace - Protect the worker from mutants while they repair the water lines.
#4 Caravan Cover - Protect the Caravan as it heads out of Wellspring from bandits.
#5 A Proposition - Leads to RC Prototype - Find the RC Prototype in the Shrouded Bunker.
#6 The Exchange - Provide sniper cover for Sheriff Black.

- Subway Town
#7 Bounty Hunter - Stop the thief at the Distillery.
#8 Eviction Notice - Evict the Shrouded Clan from the Blue Line Station.
#9 Help Wanted - Shut down the Authority's Mobile Generators in the Gearhead Vault.

Checkpoints - Please note that if you have more than i do, then good. It means you got something i failed to get in the first disc (like a card for example...)

-I have 92/130 right before disc 2. I do not have five-finger fillet done yet, so that could make this 93 if i chose to do this now, i am also missing a card. So the max I could get in the first disc is 94/130

-After completing the first quest and picking up all the side quests and visiting the shop and the bar. I also did Strum in my spare time. I now have 97/130

-After completing the Gearhead Vault quest and the Distillery, along with a few side quests, i am now at 103/130

-After completing all side quests and only 1 job board mission (the 1 job board didn't count to my progression for some reason), i am at 122/130

-Lastly, you need to have 129/130 before entering capital prime. Remember, there are two jumps right before capital prime, so you might be at 127, but you are still fine

The 3 ATV Field Goals are NOT included in this achievement. After spending 10 minutes trying to score the last one, i was finally able to check and see if they were. They in fact, are not required.

The sewer missions are not included in this achievement either since they are DLC. The job board quest you get from each one, and the one after these 7, are also not included in this achievement.

If you feel that I have missed anything or need to address something, please leave a comment. Within a reasonable amount of time, I should be able to respond. Also, if you down vote me, please give me feedback so that i can improve my solution.

tl;dr
This achievement is random. Just complete everything. Some things you might get credit, some you won't.

Stanley is the mail guy in Wellspring. He has three available races that you can complete. I'm not 100% sure of they are required for the Rage Racing achievement, but they are side missions none-the-less.

Also do you have to do the 7 sewer missions? From what I read once you do the 7 another mission comes up on the job board not sure if it is required though. Also the bobble heads in the two mayors offices and the collectibales in the quake, wolfenstein 3d and doom room. Are those required?

You absolutely DO have to finish certain job board quests. I checked in Subway Town before picking any of them up, at 120 / 130. I picked up all 3, still 120/130. After completing Help Wanted, I was 121/130. So your solution needs to be changed to reflect this. I'll post if the other two up the completion number when I finish them today.

Ok so you say that youve got to do the minigames so does that mean just win any round or win the final round? Cuz I'm finding fillet to be the hardest thing about this game it's so frustrating i may never get that one so if that fifth round goes for this achievement I'm just wondering if I'll get screwed out of it without winning that last round

By ResDogsMrPink on 11 Oct 2011 14:21
Syanley races and all mini games done didn't raise my counter for completion so unless you actually must get thru all rounds of fillet I don't think those things count

i was wondering the same thing about the minigames, whether you have to win or just play them, because you can win in five finger filet w/o getting to the final round anyways.

Give me a few days, and i'll check for myself if these count and to what degree you have to finish the mini-games for the achievements. I am competing in a 24 hour long gaming charity event and i will try and spend some of this time working towards my Rage achievements. This will be on Wednesday so check back then for an update.

Can confirm that you do not need to get to round 5 of ANY game nor do you need to jackpot or beat teagues hardest deck. I just entered Capitol prime with 129/130 on my counter and i did none of that. Seems like it's just the jumps, missions, races, and cards/schematics. You may have to at least play the mini games but I don't think so because I never saw my progress counter go up for playing/winning anything

I’m now on my third playthrough trying to get this. The first time, I missed a recipe in the Outrigger Settlement (for setting off the fireworks). The second time, on my Nightmare run, I left the races in Subway Town until too late. So my advice to anyone attempting this; please, please, keep multiple save files. It’s something I’ve never done before, but in games such as this, it is critical, and you’ll only be shooting yourself in the foot if you don’t.

Yeah, I did get credit for doing two of them. The Abandoned Distillery one didn't count, but the other two did. It may have something to do with what your completion % already is? Either way, I did get credit for doing 2 of the 3.

I just confirmed that you DO have to successfully finish Round 1 of Five Finger Fillet. I was at 129/130 after blowing up the Authority Bridge and went back to Subway Town. I played Round 1, took my winnings and this Achievement popped along with the Minigamer Achievement.

I was at 91 before the switch to disc 2.

I did all mentioned sidequests, races, stanley's delivery express, found all cards, did all the jumps.

Don't get it what went wrong...

Again, my max was 94, but i think each playthrough differswhat you have to do to hit 130/130 is different. This may or may not be the case, but based off of what everyone here has said, this is the conclusion that i am reaching. I don't understand why they made this achievement so picky, but then again, it does says to get 100% completion. It is always safe to do EVERYTHING, since 100% is everything.

Well, I need help. I need 2 more jumps and 5 more cards but I am only at 122/130. I have all the recipes, I've gone back and won all the minigames (all difficulties in both locations), I've gone back to check that I have completed all the races at both locations and I have done the Stanley races, I have checked my completed jobs to make sure that I have done all the side quests and job board missions (though neither of the last 2 job board jobs at subway town added to my obsessive compulsive number). The only thing I haven't done is redo mutant bash and finish the game (currently on power plant mission). Has anyone had any luck getting a job board job to count if you go to a previous save and do it again? I'm open to any suggestions.

follow the video for the cards to get those, as for your last remaining bit of percentage needed, try doing all the side missions as well

I think we are missing a vital part to the solution. Something people may have gotten without even knowing. Or it is bugged.

By Neophyte Hybrid on 15 Oct 2011 16:49
@ Weezleram 122/130 plus the 2 jumps and 5 cards will put you at 129/130 so all you have to do is beat the final mission and that will be your 1 more needed equaling 130/130 BOOM achievement unlocked ( as long as all of these solutions are correct!!)

Oh, I didn't think about some of the regular story missions counting towards the 130. So are there only some main story missions that count? I wish id would have given us a clear checklist. Ok, thanks for the help. /*crosses fingers*/

By Delimar x on 15 Oct 2011 20:21
I would like to confirm that it is entirely possible to show 91/130 under the obsessive compulsive stat, and have completed the first disc to 100%. I just finished the game and got this achievement with my counter always being off from the above checkpoints, up until 129/130. I think the most important thing to do before changing discs is have your stats as follows:
Cards Collected: 43/54
Vehicle Jumps: 11/18
Recipes Collected: 14/18
Job Board Missions Completed: 6 (do not count sewer missions)
Field Goals Scored: 3 (Still on the fence about this one. Just because it doesn’t change the counter for some doesn’t mean it isn’t part of the 130.)
Make sure you’ve won 3 out of the 4 mini-games, won all races, done all side missions, and you should be good.

I had 125 before going to Capital Prime.. went to do Stanley's postal races, didn't count, so went to do more quests on the job board, went up to 127..
Seems there are different triggers

However, great solution. Helped me loads! Thanks.

Check your stats screen and see if you are missing anything. Remember, some side missions and some side mini games work only once, but some actually require you to win/complete them all.

By Delimar x on 29 Jul 2013 21:26
you have to collect everything in one playthrough. Only the make 50 engineering items and the kills with sentry bots/turrets carry over.

I Can also conform that 91 is possible with 100% completion on disc 1. The jobs in subway town did the trick.

im doing the mini games and is isnt counting towards my completetion whatsoever. im at 93/130 in subway town and i went to play strum and i beat it all the way to round 5 and it didnt give me 94/130, so whats the deal on that ???

By WAR Psyco on 17 Oct 2011 17:28
Not all minigames or side-quests count for the 130. The game uses a variable that add up to the 100% completion rate. You don't know what adds up so your almost forced to play them all.
0
0
By Neophyte Hybrid on 17 Oct 2011 19:40
Which if you read the achievement, i don't understand why they would make it a variable. You have to get 100% completion. Makes no sense to me honestly =-/
0
0
By Delimar x on 17 Oct 2011 20:22
you still need to play almost everything. since you don't know what adds up. I think they did this to tease completionist :)

things that i didn't do for this achievement-stanleys 3 races,field goals,the 20 pieces of feltrite mission,mutant bash tv re-run

what did seem to count-54 cards,18 jumps,28 races,2 vehicle challenges,9 job board missions,19 recipes

add those numbers together and you get 130 plain and simple,i got this achievement after smashing the last 2 drones(jumps) before entering capital prime

Stanley's mail service will shut once you start messing with the authority in the first disc. I'm not sure if theses quests are required, but they are miss able. I can't think of any other places besides in the second disc again when you mess with the authority. They shut down the races in subway town, so you need to complete those races before you blow up the bridge

Thing is, Five Finger filet DID give me credit, it is different per person. Same for mutant bash as well as the job board missions. I didn't get credit for the last 3 in subway town. Your best bet is what i have said time and time again, do every single mission and mini-game.

The developers have been quite clever here by not making it 100% set in stone what each individual needs for the 130. There are probably around 140-150 different "tasks" that could count toward the "Obsessive Compulsive" stat but it will differ from playthrough to playthrough. For example myself, my brother and 2 friends are all playing through the game and the pattern seems to be that Job Board missions, Stanley's Races, Side Quests all may or may not trigger a "notch" towards the achievement (my brother is getting recognition for Job Board missions and I'm not whereas I got recognition from Stanley Races and he didn't. As long as you complete all of the items posted on the original posters solution you should be fine come the end of the game.

Fluctuation between disc 1 and disc 2 happen because I still cannot find any upgraded sentry or turret schematics in the vendors so I am at 92 with all cards, jumps, job boards and side quests.
This is a great guide - I still go to the RAGE wiki every once in a while, but this is good enough to let me see where I should be and if I need certain achievement help the other TA guides suffice.
Thanks!

Good question. I always did, but I can't remember. I would assume he would still be there, but go ahead and beat him anyways. He gives you an upgrade for your car so I would *think* it would be a part of the achievement. Then again, i have been wrong about 50% of the time so far...

@ Th3MiteeyLambo yes u have to beat him at disc 1 and disc 2.

I got the the achievement with 91 at disc 1..... started the last mission with 127 then i have done the last 2 jumps before i enter PRIME with 129... after i activate the last station the achievement pops up.

i missed some missable card... so i have to start over again? NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! it makes me not want to play this game anymore, that just suck. it should be written in the achievement description that it's missable... it's just stupid having to follow a guide to get all collectibles in a game, why cant i find them all by myself? in AC:revelation finding all the collectibles is doable because the game help you with collectible maps, just like in bully: scholarship edition...

the missable ones are fairly obvious to find. You can't miss too many really. You don't have to follow a guide for all, but I do recommend using it for the missable ones.

Ok so here's what I've found upon some digging. The devs may have added in backups incase the game glitched. As an above poster mention the recipes cards jumps races and board missions do add up to 130, but if something were to glitch and not count then the extras bits (like stanleys mail service) will count. I can't find any official confirmation of this, but it seems to make sense given that people seem to be able to get this one and be all over the place as far as completion numbers. good guide

That makes sense. I just went ahead and completed everything. I mean, the achievement is 100% completion, right?

i would add - if you miss the first Starky race in Wellspring, he disappears after you beat him in Subway Town - i'm stuck on 129/130 because of it....

It is different per person. As long as you know you have done everything then you are fine. I encourage you to read through all of the comments through here for futher info on how random it is.

I dont understand this. I've completed every job quest, side quest, main quest and collected every collectible but only had 128/130 during the last mission. Just completed the game and it didn't unlock. Anyone know why I haven't got 100%? Also did all activities too.

I've noticed this with a few other people and it happened for me too: I didn't have to complete Capital Prime for this achievement, it unlocked once I hit the last jump in the Capital Prime area. I don't know what I did, but that's what happened.

By SemanticV0id on 12 Feb 2012 02:52
That just means that your game decided not to include Capital Prime as one of the needed achievements. That could be the case for tremberz. As for why Tremberz did not get the achievement, I don't really have an answer for you. Your best bet is to play through it again and make sure to do everything.

did you manage to do all the sub quests? everyone i have talked to has had atleast 92. Your game may only have 91 in yours, but i would check for all the sub quests and then continue.

Actually, both of those that you said "do not count," counted for me. I inserted everything you can possibly do in this guide, after all, the achievement is 100% completion.

Yea, those mini games were a pain. You have to fully complete some of them to actually get credit. Five finger fillet took me an hour or two to get the hang of it. It's mostly a game of randomness mixed with reflexes.

Yeah I just entered the place with 129\130 (I had to fin. Round 5 of 5 finger Felite, to get to 127 w/o the last 2 jumps) - beat the last mission, But the Achive. didn't pop >_<

got 130\130 as soon as i got last jump after blowing up the Authority bridge, - so yeah clearing disk 1 with 93\130 will net achivement - 91\130 didn't (for me atleast) since finnal mission didnt give me 1 point

Just to add to the comment above : if you were brave enough and started Ultra Nightmare straight away, you WILL struggle with races because of the time limit on time trials ( it's cut by 18-25 seconds each!!! ), so just for your information, if you got all the collectibles, got all the side/ job board missions, all secondary quests - you can do all the races after you finished the main story completely!

Hope it will save somebody a lot of frustration ;)

I guess Stanley's three "races" DON'T count, I did 1 race before I reached disc 2, I had 117/130 after I did some Subwaytown "jobs", then went back finished the last 2 races, (which were a pain in the ass), still ended up with 117

Both yours and Zavistic's guide were great. Not sure how the counter works, but I figure that you do have to do almost everything as it still registers in the game, but does not update right away in the Obsessive Compulsive category in the menu. For example I had 91/130 going into Disc 2. I completed Blue line station and got all cards and schematics up to that point and has 113/130. But you should defs add that it is possible to do it at 91/130 after disc 1 because I have seen a lot of comments stating that and I was worried I missed something or something didn't count until I read the comments.

Here's my experience. On Disc 1, I was at 91/130, but then I completed a Sewer mission from the Job Board (DLC), and it jumped up to 92.

By Sir Paulygon on 16 May 2020 20:05
Another quick edit: actually got up to 93 when I completed all of the sewer missions from the job board. Only thing I can think of to improve my numbers is to replay the Mutant Bash TV mission(s) or continue with the DLC story -- going to revisit that later.

For now, I'm going to go ahead and travel to Subway Town and continue the main plot.

By Sir Paulygon on 16 May 2020 20:56
Just found out that if you finish the game without 100%, then go back and wrap up the things you missed, you can still be awarded this without having to replay the ending. Whoo! I'd done everything except a few of the Subway Town races that were a real bitch...went ahead and did the last mission so I could get my achievement for completing the game on normal difficulty. Then reloaded a save, turned the difficulty down to easy so I could beat the remaining races, and this achievement popped along with "win all races" right after I got the last gold.

If you downloaded the game on next gen consoles you can still go back and forth between Wellspring and Subway Town AND you can keep playing after the final mission. I wouldn't recommend waiting until finishing the last mission bc the risk of something that may be glitched, but its a good backup plan just in case.

The 7 sewer missions are DLC and if you could post those locations i can quickly check those for you. The bobble heads are not required nor are the collectables from Quake and Doom room. Where did you find Wolfenstein 3d one at? I would still pick them up anyways, there sell for some nice $$$

Thought this list of job board missions would help people see if they've done or not.

Ok, thanks Worhammer. I did two and my completion did not go up when i played. bronze, you DO have to do the mini games. I did five finger fillet, round 1, and after i completed it, i checked my progress and it DID go up by 1. I personally think this achievement is picky on what quests or mini games give credit, and one don't.

By Delimar x on 13 Oct 2011 18:59
You should have 92-94. I had 92 at first because i didn't do the mini games until later, but if you got everything possible, the highest you should have is 94 on disc one. Cold, the achievement pops after you complete the game, so consider yourself lucky that it popped early? From the sound of all of these comments, i think this achievement varies per person. Some mini games work, some don't. Some side quests work, some dont. It is still safe to conclude that for 100% you need to do Everything. I'll try a few play throughs to test our my theory, but i will edit my guide to show which DO give you credit and which Might give you credit.

Minigames DO count. I was stuck at 128 before Capital Prime with everything done. I had played every minigame, but never won Five Finger Fillet. I always got to fifth round (or less) and lost, so it never registered. The moment I won the first round and retired, I got the Minigamer achievement and it went up to 129.
The sewers DO NOT count, by the way.

If you have everything possible then i guess you got the short end of the stick completion wise. I just used those values above by taking what everyone else here has gotten so far. Comment again after you complete disc 2 and get your achievement to see if 86 was indeed accurate and i will update my solution.

You DO NOT need to do the following items to get Obsessive Compulsive:

Delivery races in Wellspring
Missions for Sally (Wellspring)(other than her card) or Brick (Subway Town)
The ATV Fieldgoals
ANY of the Mini-games
The Re-Run for Mutant Bash TV

Focusing on doing the following will net you this achievement:

Get 1st place in all races (26)
Collect all cards (54)
Complete all jumps (18)
Complete all job board missions (excluding the Sewers, since these are not required - 9)
Complete all primary story missions (4 points awarded; not every mission gives points toward the total)
Find all schematics/recipes (19)

Thanks for you input, but yours is flawed too. Yours looks strangely similar to mine and since you called mine flawed, yours must be too. Regardless of the hostilities, my list or guide is here to show people everything that is out there. If people venture to read these comments, they will learn that not everything they do will give them +1 to their achievement.

im @ The End of the disk, I have done Everything 100% All Side Quests, All Board Jobs, All jumps, Feild goals, races, Deliverys, Even did Mutant bash 2 times After - "Mainly for the 750$ Achivement" Card game on hard, 5 Finger felite bout 10 times (Trying for the just a flesh wound achivement) tombstone and the Banjoe game - and im at 128\130. just entered the Finnal area, (Made a pre-save before hand) -

When i Got a Silver Cup on one of the last races i got 1 Point: then i got a Gold Cup and got Another Point. Im Thinking, That the last point I need is from winning the 5 Finger Felite (Saved game at the table... hate Round 5) . Guna see if i luck out and just get 2 points from beating the game - if not, I' will have no clue what i coulda missed, I followed this guide to the letter (Along with a few others for card locations, jumps, ect)

All these guides are Really good In Addition however plz note i did all Quests/Side quests, Collected recipes during my normal play through, I bought all cards that are marked miss-able from subway Town Vendor after i had completed story and then mopped up the rest, I also had trouble with the races but after you have finished the story you can turn down difficulty (I did to easy) for the last 2 races this still counted towards my 100% completion Hope this will Help you smile

Here's a HUGE tip for Mutant Menace and Caravan Cover!

If you're playing on Nightmare or Ultra Nightmare SKIP Mutant Menace and the Caravan Cover job board postings for later. Then and complete the game without 100% completion. It is extremely frustrating!

When you are about to finish the last mission at Capital Prime, make a save in front of the Job Board in Wellsprings.

After you have completed the main Campaign on Nightmare/Ultra Nightmare, load that save file.

Then switch to easy, complete the two job posts, and then go and complete the Campaign on easy. Make sure to finish the last two vehicle jumps as well.

People get 100% differently for some reason. Some will hit 92/130 before going to disc 2 when some will hit 94/130. I would only be worried if you had 91 or 93.

When I leave the ark at the beginning of the game I already have 2 points towards Obsessive Compulsive.
Those two points are not mentioned in your summary of items which count towards 130/130.

Why do I get those 2 points? Do I get them because I look up and down inside the ark? Do i get them because I have the Anarchy edition and start out with two weapons?

That is really strange that you had 2 before you even started? But if you follow this guide and check off everything as you go you should get 100%. Not sure why you would have 2 already.

I got the achievement when I hit 130/130.
Didn't even have to do the final "Assault" mission.

91 on disc 1 is still possible. I had 91 when I entered Subway town.

Just make sure you cross of everything from Disc one and then you're fine.

To everybody wondering if they are safe to move onto Disc 2, AS LONG AS YOU HAVE DONE EVERYTHING IN MY GUIDE THAT IS TO DO WITH DISC 1 YOU WILL HIT 100%.

This is a nice clear guide, cheers. And just to confirm MilkSjeik's point that you may have completed everything on disc 1 and only be showing 91/130 - I was exactly the same and had no issues unlocking the achievement. As you say, as long as you've ticked off all the disc 1 items above before moving to disc 2, you'll be sweet.

Thought it was easier to just write a guide for everything that can count towards 100% instead of making a guide on the things that should then saying all the other stuff. Just do everything as the extras don't even take you much extra time anyway. On my first playthrough for Nightmare i didn't even try for 100% and i hit 96% only missing out on a few cards. That's why i recommend you do this on your first playthrough as it just takes the pain of having to do the whole game again just for 1 or 2 achievements.

Great guide, just wanted to add a little something here. Everyone seems to think you cannot return to Well spring, but there is a man named Charon in the resistance base, that will take you back there if you wish. I didn't miss anything on disc 1, but I would think you could grab any of the "non-missable" items if you didn't grab them the first time. I don't know if he is always there, but I noticed him after completing power struggle for Redstone.

The "#9 Dynamite Bolts" schematic doesn't appear for me in the shop in Wellspring. The rest of them did though. You're sure it's supposed to appear with the others? I see it appears in another shop later too but it's worrying me.

Also, the second race in Speed & Thrills is a Rocket Rally, not a Rocket Race.. minor detail, but yeah.

Thanks for all of the effort put in here!

I think the Dynamite Bolts appear around the time you are just about to leave the first area (Disc 1)

Ah, okay. The guide (and the wiki) both say that they appear at the same time as all of the others, so I was worried. I hope that's the case. Thanks!

^ Can confirm this. Was worried when guide said they'd be in the outfitter's after "Dan's Message" but they appear LONG after that mission.

Also, followed this guide TO THE T - every schematic, every jump, all the field goals, every card, every minigame, every job, every race, you get the picture. Yet I still only have 91/130 when leaving disc 1. I have read around and seeing as how it is rare but not unheard of to have 91, I am not overly concerned... I will report back when I finish the game if I get the 130 or not.

Yeah, it seems some do get 91 before leaving disc 1. Please comment back when you finish so I know whether you completed it or not.

Just beat it and I did indeed end up getting the 130/130. Not sure what to say, it's an interesting way to track progress for sure. I was checking it religiously and it seemed to go up after completely random tasks. Some job board missions raised it, others didn't. A few story missions didn't even raise it. But I just followed this guide and made sure I left no stone unturned, and I got it no problem. Cheers for the guide, +1 from me.

Can confirm that you do NOT need to beat the game fully in order to get this. I got it after my last stunt jump after collecting all cards, schematics and doing every side quest / race.

Could you try starting a new game and check your stats upon leaving the ark?

I restarted the game several times and get those 2 points every time.
You have the Anarchy Edition?

Zavistic, read the comments listed under my solution. This will allow you to answer pretty much any question people have for you under your solution. Lastly, give credit to the makers of these videos. I am becoming a stickler on this simply because I am on my second semester of college and have recently learned how important it is to cite Everything you do.

Races in Wellspring do not have to be completed before Authority take over. Went back from Subway town and my current mission is to destroy the Authority bridge. I wanted to get the roadkill achievement and there's a race you can grind it on in Wellspring. You can do every race in Wellspring up until you blow up the Authority bridge I believe

Just wanted to leave a comment on the fact that if your playing on Xbox one you no longer need disc 2, as the game disc is basically just a ticket to download the game off xbox live, so it’s the equivalent of buying it off the Microsoft store, so it’s all downloaded at once and you will have no trouble traveling back and forth between locations if you so choose. A personal tip from me is use explosive bolts or pop rockets for any armored enemy’s as it one shots them, and if your short on cash use the gambling machines to make a great deal of cash real quick, I did ultra nightmare at the same time as collecting everything, so cash just makes the game easy mode with all the equipment you can craft. Last thing, you can play after finishing the final mission, so you don’t have to worry about finishing everything before then, just make sure you pick up the few cards that become unacessable after a certain point, such as the large mutant card. Best of luck to everyone and enjoy this underrated gem of a game :)

I've been reading a lot about this topic, additionally, I've been testing some theories by playing simultaneously the whole game with different accounts and I found nothing new or different to what has been said, but, I want to put it all together, plus, I have "Developed" a tool to make things easier. The link to download it is at the end of this guide

This tool contains too much information and includes the info written below in this guide (which only serves as a brief introduction) if you omit to read it now you will be able to read it later in the tool. I highly recommend to read everything.

About 100% Completion System
> 100% in this game means that you have to have 130 / 130 points under your "Obsessive Compulsive" In-game stats
> Rage uses a "random" points-assignment system
•That means that by performing the same action "Obsessive Compulsive" will increase for some players while, for others, it won't
•It seems that, almost always: Cards, Recipes, Schematics, Vehicle Jumps, Races and Jobs will give you 1 point each, but, be aware! It does not always happen that way, don't worry, instead of that, they will give you points by completing Side Quests. I noticed that sometimes I was getting points for everything I did, then, some things ( - which were supposed to - ) started to randomly not give a point for it.
•Some actions will only give you points if you make every single part of their set, that is to say, you have to complete two or more Side Quests in order to get one point. A good example of this: Minigames, unfortunately, for the rest, this process is random and there is no way to predict when and how.
> That said, you should be fine as long as you collect every card, recipe, perform every jump, win every race, complete every side quest and every job to ensure you will get the achievement.
> There is no solid evidence about this achievement to be Glitched, just try to play by your self and avoid to follow "the verbatim" walkthroughs from other players since the results could be different than expected resulting in confusion.

In-Game Hints & Tips
> Items / Actions / Stats, etc. Won't carry over playthroughs. Make sure you to get everything in a single playthrough
> Rage allows you to have multiple save files, use this feature indiscriminately, this could save you time and headaches
> Always check your stats after loading. This way, you will ensure that you are opening an updated file
> Although it is not entirely necessary at all if you track perfectly your progress, I highly recommend that you get everything before going to Subway Town. If so, you should have between 91 and 94 points under the "Obsessive Compulsive" stat by the time you leave
> You can go back to Wellspring anytime after arriving to Subway Town
> There is no Free Roam for this game after the end, make sure you to get everything done before going to Capital Prime. ( Warning: Missable Items / Actions before that point ).
> If you are not one of the lucky ones who got the achievement before the end of the game:
•By the time you have to go to Capital Prime your stats should show 127 / 129, It depends on If you haven't / have performed two jumps located in what was a Restricted Area before Assault the Authority Bridge quest.
•You should get the very last point towards "Obsessive Compulsive" when you Complete Rage

Tracker Overview
> As its name says, this Tracker will help you to "Track" all actions that should count towards "Obsessive Compulsive"
> In addition, the Tracker provides information which comes from official sources, posts, forums and my testing and investigation:
Video: IMO The best videos that I found for the collectibles. Due to compatibility, libraries, etc. I'm only providing links for those videos within this tool
Written: Relevant information that will give you a quick preview of each item / action such as if they are missable, locations, tips to get them and avoid to miss them, etc.
> Sometimes, video or written information may seem to be few or not enough by themselves, try to use them together to make the most of them.
> Although you will be fine with this tracker content and by using it you should get several achievements towards "Obsessive Compulsive", it is not a Walkthrough. If you need specific information on how to get a different achievement, check out their associated guides

Download the Tracker:
http://www.box.com/s/m0mblenmou791in0j8gv

Make sure to use the upper right corner button to download it. The site only shows the preview of the first page and you won't be able to use it from there

Thanks man. Well, the achievement for "the race" must be done in road rage, this one and legends of the wasteland are the only game modes that you can play in multiplayer/co-op. you can't play campaign in co-op

This is, naturally, the most time-consuming achievement in the game. To obtaion 100% completion you have to complete the following (see guide for tips on how to get complete them):

  • All Main and Side Story missions
  • All (9) Job Board missions (6 in Wellspring, 3 in Subway Town)
  • All (26) Races
  • All (18) Jumps (11 in Wasteland, 7 in Eastern Wasteland)
  • All (5) Mini-games
  • All (73) Collectibles (54 Playing Cards, 19 Schematics/Recipes)

This trophy is highly missable!

This is the most annoying and longest trophy in the game you have to complete it 100%. The reason this is hard, is some places in the game seal up and are inaccessible when you advance though the game so please make sure you follow a collectibles guide while your playing! Missing just one card can mess up your whole playthrough up so remember to have some other saves in case you mess up. You should have 126/130 before going any where near the 'Assault the Authority Bridge' mission, reason for this is there are two jumps in that final area and a collector card on the bridge itself, Completing the authority bridge mission will block out 80% of the games activities so make sure you go to it at 126/130! There's 130 tasks and you can check your progress for this in the stats screen by pressing then moving to the corresponding tab with & . You can travel back to wellsprings from subway town at any time if you've missed something. In the resistance base there is a front door, go through here and speak to the man to travel back to wellsprings. Use this checklist I made to make sure you get 100% completion:

NOTE: Everything in the link below is the only thing I did to get 130/130. Everything else in not needed for 100%: LINK

This trophy has glitched on a lot of people but nobody is sure what causes it or how to fix it. The glitch is you end up with 129 at the end even though you have done everything that is explained in the OC checklist. There are a few reasons as to why this may happen and it can be because you didn't buy a regular schematic before an advanced one, nobody is 100% sure though. Just follow my OC guide linked above and you will just have to hope it unlocks. If you have any explanations to what causes the glitch then post here, thanks.
