How to unlock the Thrash Canyon achievement in RAGE - Definitive Guide
It's the 3rd mission in the DLC.
You can't miss it as it's part of the story.
It's not really a solution as it plays like the original Bash TV so it will really come to how you'll find your own way to survive... But I can give a few tips.
1st, be sure to pack a LOT of ammo and health before attempting this.
I tried it once without enough ammo and facing a mutant horde with an empty shotgun isn't nice to live. This arena is indeed harder than the previous one...
So bring everything you can, don't be afraid to spend your cash on ammo because if you don't need it here, it'll come to use later in the game anyway.
2nd, if you are (like me) playing through the whole game again because of the "ultra hard" cheevo added by the DLC, progress in the main story at least to the point where you get the rocket launcher (mission in the hospital for the upgraded defib) as it will make the last part of the arena a LOT easier.
Dealing with a kraken and mutant at the same time in such a small space was a real pain until I got the rocket launcher.
Happy killing !

that's for the hint on the rocket launcher and second defib pack as I am trying it without it and keep getting to the kraken at part 4 and just get crushed so will grab those 2 and go back

Story related and cannot be missed
This is just like in the main game game but this time Mutant Bash has changed a bit. There is 6 rounds, 5 where you use your weapons and the last being one where you use a turret. Simply fight your way through each arena of mutants until you complete it and get your ticket to Oasis.
