You can get sheriff stars by killing enemies, breaking crates, or getting bullseyes with the golden bullet. This is the first of four achievements related to collecting these stars. You should have no problem getting this achievement early on in the game if you simply break every crate you encounter and defeat the enemies you face.You should not have to worry too much or go out of your way too much about getting this achievement even if you are not planning to go for 200,000. It will come with natural story progression.
