How to unlock the And the Kitchen Sink achievement in Rare Replay - Definitive Guide

From the main menu, select Snapshots, Snapshot Playlists and go to "Collect-A-Thon". You'll now need to complete all 5 snapshots:

1 - Put the cursor to the bottom of the screen and shoot the falling money bags as they pass by the bottom.
2 - Accelerate using cn_RT, while tapping cn_B to shoot. Hit the ramps to pick up the hovering red diamonds to complete the snapshot.
3 - In R.C. Pro-AM II, try to be the first person out of the gate to pick up as many pieces of cash before any other racers get a chance. Feel free to stop and go back for any cash pick-ups you miss. If you complete the first lap without 5 cash, catch up to AI, use your buckshot with cn_B to shoot enemies and they will drop cash which you can pick up
4 - In Snake Rattle N Roll, you'll need to tap cn_B to hover/jump, and use your tongue with cn_A to catch the fish. Use the shadows on the ground for positional reference, and remember that the black fish take multiple hits.
5 - Collect the first 2 trophies, and wait for the first rock to fall. After it falls climb over it to the 3rd trophy. Turn back, go on top of the previous rock and then jump to the left up to the 4th, 5th and 6th collectibles.

If you're able to complete the playlist, the achievement will unlock.

Just to note that you only need 4 collectibles in the final snapshot.

Yep, just want to echo Planting42. You can grab the first two, wait for the rock to fall and grab the third on the other side of the now-fallen rock, climb up on the rock and jump to the ledge for the 4th, and then stand there and wait for the rock to fall on you to end the snapshot. Since you already have the 4, this will simply end the snapshot early and give you the win and not cause a failure.

The second challenge you need to quickly get moving or you'll get killed. Do your best to collect what you need within the time limit. The racing challenge can be a little tricky but doable. Some of the controls for Snake Rattle 'n' Roll challenge is different during this bonus section. It will take time getting use to, the black fish takes a few licks before you can eat em. Quickly move in the final challenge to collect the trophies. This ends up being a very easy Snapshot Playlist to finish, I highly recommend replaying it.

Alongside the full games, each pre-N64 game in Rare Replay has five standalone 'snapshot' challenges available to attempt; this concept is taken a stage further by a set of six 'playlists,' collecting together five achievements that share a particular theme. theme. To complete each playlist, you'll need to complete each set of snapshots in sequence without failing more than twice across the whole set.

For this achievement, you'll need to complete the 'And the Kitchen Sink' playlist, for which each snapshot requires you to collect a set of items. The snapshots are as follows:

1. Gunfright: Make it Rain
It's bonus month! Shoot at least 35 money bags within 45 seconds.

This snapshot takes place in the minigame with falling bags of money that you need to shoot, as at the start of a new game. With a little practice, reaching the required 35 hits shouldn't prove too difficult, as the speed at which the bags fall is fairly slow in this round of the minigame.

2. Cobra Triangle: Podcasting
Ramps are fun! Use them to grab at least five power-ups in 30 seconds.

Here, you're faced with a course strewn with ramps, with power-up pods hanging in the air above them. You need to use the ramps to launch your boat into the air and collect at least five pods within the time limit. Whilst some of the pods are worth double in normal play, they'll only count for one towards your total here. However, the time limit is fairly generous here; just bear in mind that it seems that you typically need to aim slightly to the left of the pod to collect it successfully.

3. R.C. Pro-AM II: A Quick Buck
Grab at least five cash pick-ups in 60 seconds! Use your unlimited buckshot to clear a path.

There are a few ways of approaching this snapshot, where you need to collect at least five cash pick-ups (of either denomination) from the track within 60 seconds. First, note that if you turn around at the start, you'll find four pick-ups in a row just before the line. Collecting these has the downside that many of the pick-ups going forward from the line will then be collected by other racers, but they'll still miss some, which you can then collect. You can also use your gun here, as successful hits on your opponents will cause them to drop cash, which you can the collect. Alternatively, just race as usual (without turning around at the start), and you'll likely find yourself able to collect five pick-ups fairly quickly anyway.

4. Snake, Rattle 'n' Roll: Sea Snakes
Gobble down at least five Pibblefish in 60 seconds. Jump repeatedly to swim.

The Nibbley Pibbleys here are a fish-like variation; note that the number of hits needed to eat them varies with colour (in particular, black ones require three hits). The snapshot requires you to eat as many as possible in 60 seconds and the angles involved in aiming your snake's tongue when swimming can make it a little frustrating, but completion within a few tries shouldn't be too hard.

5. Digger T. Rock: Legend of the Lost City: Boulder Tactics
Dodge the boulders in the crumbling cave and grab at least four pieces of treasure.

This snapshot takes place in the single-screen bonus stage that you'll typically play between each main cavern in a standard playthrough. If you attempt the snapshots after your main playthrough, you're likely to be well-used to this stage - your aim here is to collect at least four of the ten treasure items that are found in the stage. The first four treasures can be collected easily, so long as you avoid being crushed by the first falling boulder - you need to move right, climb over that boulder once it's fallen (collecting the third treasure), then use the boulder as a platform from which to jump to the fourth treasure. This meet's the snapshot's requirement, but you can attempt to collect the remaining treasures for a higher score if you wish.

Here's a video demonstrating successful completion of the playlist:
