In Mint condition there's 3 planets that affect your ship, 1 RED one that repulses you that's at the bottom left of the screen at 0:41, and the 2 BLUE ones that attract you at 0:46, you have to use the boost to get past them, other than that and turning at the very start to avoid the first wall it's pretty simple.

Also at 2:45, instead of pushing the boxes off the ghost, go into the room, wait till the ghost is near the entrance, then leave the room and re-enter, when you re-enter the room, the jewel will be falling from the sky to the floor, starting from where it was when you left the room.

Finally in Digger T Rock, instead of going through the warp at 3:26, just go back the way you came, then go left for the last diamond, Alternatively, get the diamond on the left FIRST, then when you warp from the left, get the 2 diamonds on the right, then just drop down to the exit.

I have the same issue with Mint Condition. Can't go left, pretty much straight away it just bounces back even at full throttle :(

Guide is good for the rest of the snapshots, useless for Mint condition

For Mint Condition, you basically hold X (boost) and A the whole time and turn the ship completely around when you are about to hit something.

The video guide above is ok general, but to save you some headaches on a few parts of the playlist I have a few tips

Snapshot 1 - I found it easier to use the cn_B button to shoot down the two gravity orbs that seem to pull me into an endless cycle around them, in the video the player seems very lucky to have angled through them both perfectly

Snapshot 2 - Again I recommend the cn_B, and again it seems the player was very lucky to land on the bubble and not get hit by any monsters

Snapshot 4 - I would recommend sliding down the incline first instead of jumping over it and getting the gem on the left hand side of the screen first, it will teleport you back up before the incline, being a game made by Rare before the SNES days the controls are awful at best and isn't worth the risk having to jump over the exit to not get sucked in

Great tip for Snapshots 2 and 4,

For 2 you just spam B to shoot and go up the bubble.
For 4 you get the gem on the bottom left and jump to the left to teleport back to the beginning.

On the snapshot where the above video says to knock off the blocks from the ghost I find that if you exit the lower door and then come right back in the ghost drops the gem thus making that one pretty much a piece of cake.

*In the first snapshot of the playlist (Solar Jetman- Mint Condition) I could not pass the blue stationary enemies that suck you into them. No matter how much speed I approached with or my flying technique I could not do it like in the video so I did it the HARD way and used my gun and kill both of them which is quite hard to do without dying and is NOT the right thing to do.....The thing I didn't realize until afterwards was the "X" button is your boost / turbo which was not explained in the video.... So use that technique instead of what I did!

*Another useful tip is to restart each time you are not successful on the first snapshot so you re-gain full health to have better luck beating the playlist.

*I would like to mention is in snapshot 4 of 5 (Digger T. Rock - Rock Solid) in the video guide he grabs the second gem and continues forward into the wall to teleport up, where you later have to jump over the finish to get the final gem.... This can be risky and possibly make you lose a life by accident from getting sucked into the finish with only 2 of the 3 gems on account of that particular game having a delayed jumping response. What I found was a better method was to pick up the second gem as the video shows but do not go forward enough to teleport. Instead turn around and go back and climb up, then go left which is the way you come from. Then slide down the angled ram. At the bottom just go left a short way until you see the final gem then proceed right until you reach the finish. This way you still have plenty of time to complete it and don't have to risk jumping the finish! Hope this helps and thanks for reading :)

Challenge 1 is the hardest among the five you need to complete. Holding the X button does help out a lot here. You likely can move around enemies as well as a few obstacles with little to no trouble. Your goal is getting this gem to your ship. You must get a notable distance on the left until you actually can fly upwards. From this point carefully move up to your ship. Just remember you can't take more than three hits or you fail the challenge.

Challenge 2 is surprisingly an easy challenge. All you need to do is simply get the bubble spawning area on your right. Chances are enemies might be able to hit you that will knock you off the bubble. You might be riding it in one try to the jewel. My personal fast time was a little over eight seconds no lie. Don't worry too much about the enemies either.

Challenge 3 can be done in any order you collect three gems. All three rooms are very close by making this a rather interesting challenge to complete. One of them is on a series of small platforms easy to get. Another one is in another room on one of two high platforms. You'll need to use another gem to jump to reach it. The last gem location involves your solo enemy of the challenge, a ghost. Either you could risk jumping at those two platforms he's carrying or put one of the gems in his path. The result will be the same just keep a close eye on the ghost while you collect your last gem. The challenges ends when you have all three gems in your inventory.

Challenge 4 is another challenge you can do a few possible ways. There's three gems in this cavern but it's up to you which route you can take. Two of them are on the right side of the cavern with the last one being on the bottom left side. A few areas you'll walk into will teleport you above. Think of it as the game's way of resetting you. After you collect the last gem in any order simply go through the escape. The enemies are mostly easy to deal with or more likely easy to avoid altogether.

Challenge 5 is another Solar Jetman challenge. But a surprisingly easy final challenge for this set. You need to collect ten gems before you run out of fuel. The trick is using as much fuel you'll likely need. Personally I got mostly slow pace making sure I collect them. Again holding the X button will help with some of the turning. Every gem is close by each other making this too easy to not fail this challenge.

I know it's kinda weird we start with the hardest but as this playlist goes on it kept getting easier to do. Sure, two challenges can be done a few possible ways is nice. I would say it's not the best playlist among the extra ones. To be honest, I'm kinda disappointed this one turned out to be this easy. The real trick is take your time when possible. Rushing especially in the first challenge will screw over any chances of completing this set.

Alongside the full games, each pre-N64 game in Rare Replay has five standalone 'snapshot' challenges available to attempt; this concept is taken a stage further by a set of six 'playlists,' collecting together five achievements that share a particular theme. theme. To complete each playlist, you'll need to complete each set of snapshots in sequence without failing more than twice across the whole set.

For this achievement, you'll need to complete the 'Crowning Jewels' playlist, for which each snapshot requires you to collect diamonds. The snapshots are as follows:

1. Solar Jetman: Hunt for the Golden Warpship: Mint Condition
Recover the gem in 90 seconds without scratching your Jetpod - three strikes and you're out!

This snapshot sees you having to navigate from your starting location back to your mothership, while towing a diamond behind you. 90 seconds is fairly generous, so you can afford to take time when manoeuvring the caverns - and will need to, as if you hit the walls or any obstacles/enemies you'll fail the snapshot. Your mothership is located above and to the left of your starting location, so start by heading as far to the left as you can. Once you reach the end of this path, head upwards and your mothership is on the right as you leave the cave. You'll need to use your jetpod's boost to get past some of the repulsive obstacles that you'll encounter along the way (or just shoot them if you prefer), just take care not to overdo it and propel yourself into a wall.

2. Underwurlde: Jewelling Sabres
Collect a precious gem from somewhere in the Underwurlde.

You need to collect any one gem to complete this snapshot, and by far the closest gem is on the screen immediately above your starting point. Sabreman begins hanging from a rope; to reach the gem, you can either ascend this rope then swing right to the gem, or alternatively drop from the rope onto a bubble on the right of the screen, then ride this directly up to the gem.

3. Knight Lore: Diamond Geezer
Prove you're a real treasure hunter by grabbing all three diamonds in 60 seconds.

This snapshot requires you to collect three diamonds as fast as possible. In your starting room, climb the blocks to the upper-left to reach the first crystal, then progress through the upper-right door to find the next crystal - you'll need to drop and jump on your first crystal in order to reach the required height to collect this (don't forget to return and collect the first crystal again!). Finally, go through the lower-right door to find the third crystal, but immediately exit and then re-enter this room. The crystal should drop from its starting platform, allowing you to collect it without any platforming required.

4. Digger T. Rock: Legend of the Lost City: Rock Solid
Collect all three gems and make it through the level exit within 60 seconds.

This snapshot takes place in cavern 1, with three gems available to collect. To find all of these, dig down from the start and descend the first pillar that you come across (opening the cavern's exit). Continue to the right and jump just before the slope to reach the platform above it, where you'll find the first gem. Now dig right then down for the second gem, then return to the slope and this time go down it. At the bottom, dig left to find the third and final gem, taking care around the flying enemies here. Now turn around and go straight to the right, where you'll find the exit.

5. Solar Jetman: Hunt for the Golden Warpship: Highway to the Cyberzone
Collect all ten gems from the Cyberzone before your fuel supply'e exhausted.

There's no set time limit here so the snapshot is fairly straightforward, just don't overdo the amount of thrust that you use to navigate the area, as this will rapidly use up your fuel supply and risks propelling your jetpod into a wall and damaging it. The area is rectangular and fairly small, so the ten gems can be located easily - but if you do have any trouble, first circumnavigate the area before heading along the inner paths and you'll find them all.

Here's a video demonstrating successful completion of the playlist:
