How to unlock the Long in the Tooth achievement in Rare Replay - Definitive Guide

In order to unlock the achievement, all you must do is make it to the end of the 40th night without getting a "Game Over" screen. The simplest and easiest technique is to start up the game and simply leave the controller alone. There are no enemies or traps in the room you begin in, and after the 40th night passes, you'll still be alive and the achievement will pop.

This method can be used in any room at any point in the game so long as you do not lose all your lives.

Is the day counter at the bottom of the screen supposed to be going up? Because mine is not.

Just figured it out. You need to turn off the cheats.

Go to a room with no moving parts cuz they make the game lag. Should get it much faster

Don’t know about 25 minutes 😂 I was able to eat a sandwich with crisps, a cheesecake, make a brew, smoke a fag and when I came back I was only on day 25 😂

got the stamp but not the achievement. Looks like I am doing this again. Probably should make a manual save before you hit 40 days.

Ohhhhhh I get it, you get a game over when you reach 40 days. I think it might be more efficient to play the game with infinite lives but not infinite time, up until you reach 39 days played. Make a new save at this point, let the game run through to 40, get achievement, reload, toggle infinite time cheat, continue on with playthrough.

Simply launch a New Game in Knight Lore

Make sure cheats are turned off

Now just hang around the first room and wait for your day counter to get to 40

Should take 20-25 mins

Make sure you don't let your controller die/go idle as it will pause the game and progress

This straightforward achievement requires you to let the game run for the maximum duration, being 40 full day/night cycles (at which point the game will end). Ensure that the infinite time cheat is disabled for this, as otherwise the day counter will not advance. All that you need to do is to load up a new game (or if you prefer, an existing save) and leave it to run until the required 40 days have passed. The game can be left unattended for this if desired. Do make sure, though, that when going for this achievement you try to stay in a fairly empty room - this will maximize the game's speed/frame rate and so allow for the achievement to be unlocked as fast as possible.

In order to unlock this achievement you must survive for 40 days . And without ever dying. The easiest way is to start the game and just stand in the first room. There are no enemies or traps, so you won't die.

This method can be used in any room, in any part of the game, until you die.

Make sure cheats are disabled . It takes 20-25 minutes . Don't forget that after 15 minutes the controller will turn off. Check it out because... the game process will be paused or connect it to USB .
