How to unlock the The Captain's Logs achievement in Rare Replay - Definitive Guide

To get this achievement as well as every other "sample" achievement in this collection, you simply have to start the specific games of the series once. As soon as the game loads up you have "sampled" it, no need to actually play the game. The games you have to start up are: Jetpac, Lunar Jetman, Jetpac Refuelled and Solar Jetman. Edit: You have to launch all the games directly from the game gallery within Rare Replay (thx to PuRe Pretzel for pointing this out)

I've done this multiple times for each game and still have not received the achievement. Im stuck at 75% Ive owned this game since lauch.

nevermind it just popped but it did it after i went to my profile on here and rescanned my achievements a coincidence maybe?

You need to open the games in the Rare Replay game menu and the console will open the Xbox 360 version. Once the start screen has loaded up, hold the menu button to return to the Rare Replay version, and then hold it again to quit the game back to the game menu. The achievement should then pop. Takes a few minutes all in all :)

Rare Replay includes four games that feature the spacefaring Jetman in a leading role. To unlock this achievement, you simply need to start up these four games (not the snapshots) for the first time:

  • Jetpac
  • Lunar Jetman
  • Solar Jetman: Hunt for the Golden Warpship
  • Jetpac Refuelled
