After completing the quest for Camy Cauldron near the witch's house, Camy will start selling her potions. Simply buy 30 small potions (each costs 50 coins) to unlock this achievement.
I dashboard the game after unlocking the achievement, and got all my coins back. <- If you want to do this, make sure you don't back out to the game. Dashboard when you're still in the shop menu, as confirmed by corpirate.
Coins can be earned from killing enemies and destroying vases/containers, etc.

Do not back out of the shop menu, as it will immediately auto-save, and your coin will be gone. You'll have a lot of potions though! This took a long while to unlock for me.

This definitely took a while to unlock
I went to the shop bought as many potions I could with all my money but do not back out I turned on my progress tracker and it very slowly went up bit by bit every 2-5 seconds so once you bought the potions wait 5 mins or untill the achievement pops then if you want to save your money dashboard out of the game

x30 small potions = 1500 gold
Buy small potions (50 gold) while remaining in the shop. Go to your achievements and watch the progress jump every couple of seconds.
Now dashboard quit to get your gold back.
Do the same for fire bombs achievement!
Ps: 6000 gold needed for bomb achievement
Pss: stay in the shop the whole even when dashboard quitting to avoid auto save and lose gold.

A solution if your counter is stuck. [Instant Fix]
I completed the game and was stuck on 30% bought on the tracker. I kept coming back everyday to buy some more potions from the shop and no progress but then I figured out the issue.
You want to alternate between buying bombs and buying potions at the Caravan shop (near spawn) - you can even quit out after coins have been spent and it will unlock immediately.

The, Pants, Party
Potions can be purchased from the Wagon Wares shop to the left of the starting location in the game (the large flower). You will unlock this shortly into the story. The cheapest potion is 50 Gold, so you'll need at least 1500 to unlock this.
Note: The achievement tracker for this achievement is extremely slow. If you purchase all 30 back to back, it will take a minute for the achievement to unlock.
