How to unlock the Siege Breaker achievement in Rebel Galaxy - Definitive Guide

To break 10 blockades follow the steps for the "Siege Buster" achievement.

Occasionally Space Stations will be under siege, it will be shown on the map or more often you will come upon it while running missions or trading. Defeat the ships around the space station to break the blockade.

For me, I visited the Space Station first in order to save, then steadily picked off the Red Devil capital ships.

EDIT: I got this achievement while defeating craft that were around a transponder.

This popped alongside 'Hardcore Hacker' today. I don't even have the achievement for braking 1 blockade yet.

Just need to add, I had 20 blockades completed but it would not unlock. Unlocked after I got Hardcore Hacker. You'll easily get the required amount just hunting around for the pirate lords.

This is bugged as previous comment said.

It won't unlock when breaking 10 blockades but unlocks when you hack 10 transponders.

I had 12 blockades broken but it didn't ping until I got the chievo for transponders.

This cheers is definitely glitches in our favour. This popped for me when I hacked my 10th transponder and that cheevo popped as did this one even though I've only dealt with 5 seiges.

Sometimes either the Militia or the Korian will send a blockade fleet to block trade in and out of a station. You will see these events in the galaxy as either a Militia Embargo or a Korian Siege. When you arrive at either, you will see one of the ships marked with a sword icon which is the leader. Destroy that and the blockade ends. Do this 10 times and you get your trophy. Note: Destroying the invasion or blockade fleet en-route does not count.

The blockade is a special event at the station. Station events are indicated by a yellow exclamation mark at the station on the sector map (about 5 events occur simultaneously in the system). Events are temporary phenomena, they begin and end, replacing each other. The occurrence of specific events is random. The beginnings and endings of events are recorded on the notice board in the station bars, so you need to look there and monitor the events that interest you (some help a lot in trading).

This event works like this:
1. The Korian Invasion event appears at the beginning. A pirate fleet appears somewhere on the map and begins to slowly move towards the station. Prices for all goods at the station increase at this moment. If this fleet is destroyed, then there will be no further events.
2. When the fleet reaches the station, the Korian Siege event starts. The fleet is stationed around the station and the shops do not sell goods.
3. To break the blockade during step 2 (not earlier!) it is necessary to destroy the lead ship of the pirates (you can also destroy its escort at the same time, but it seems not necessary).

The number of broken blockades is recorded in the general statistics in pause mode in the system menu (during the game, not in the main menu).

It is necessary to pay special attention that the occurrence of this event is random and quite rare. To get a trophy, it makes sense from the beginning of the game to monitor the occurrence of these events and participate in them, otherwise you will have to grind this trophy for a long time (not as long as pirate lords, but still).

A list of all possible events and their impact on the prices of goods.

If you are too lazy to fight the entire siege, then it is enough to kill the siege ship (marked with a sword in a diamond) and you can safely fly away about your business.... it works 100%... I did that for the last 3-4 sieges. They gave me the trophy.

The point is to destroy a siege ship (marked on the map with a sword symbol) in any part of the solar system, regardless of whether it is near the station or not.
If there is no such vessel in the system, we jump into the neighboring system.
We repeat until the ship is found.
Personally, it took me a couple of hours to finish off the remaining 5 sieges.
