First, you need a jump drive. You can buy it at any ship yard. Risky jump gates are shown as red icons or in the sector map, they have red lines between systems. Travelling through these jump gates can damage your ship unless you buy the shielded jump drive.

You can absolutely go back and forth through the same risky jump gate to get this achievement.
