How to unlock the Explorer achievement in Rec Room - Definitive Guide

I expected this to pop when I went through the door into the Rec Room along with the Newcomer achievement but it didn’t.

Very easy to pop, though. Go into the watch menu (three lines button on controller) and select any of the rooms on offer. Pops when you arrive.

In the dorm room go over to the notice board and then click the join room option. You can then also create a room and publish it once you are in there. Make sure your Xbox preferences are set to public or the notice board will be empty.

Thanks. NB: I believe my privacy isn't public and I still could use the 'Go to room!' button on my dormitory noticeboard (bottom left, Featured Rooms).
