I would advise Leonhart, Ellis, Vira-Lorr, Borgnine, Winfield, and one character of your choice as your party for this generation. Make sure to put plenty into Leonhart's VIT stat. If this is a second playthrough, boost it to 100 using your carried over PP as soon as you can, and then put all level up points into STR. For a fresh playthrough, I would put all level up points into VIT until around level 15, and then split it equally between STR and VIT through this generation and the next until it hits 80-100. After that, put points solely into STR. This will be made much easier if you use the PP you obtain, however, if you choose to use the PP, it will make some of the 150+ stat achievements take longer to obtain later on. For Winfield, all points should go into LUK for his EX Steal Ability (Hold Shot, Sidewinder) unless you find you are struggling with combat (in which case I would move to pushing up his STR stat equally with LUK). I would keep all VIT up, INT up, and HP up items you come across until Generation 4. AGI up can be used on Leonhart and LUK up on Winfield. I would keep STR up items for Ladius.

As soon as you can make Rings of Intelligence for your mages and Rings of Power for your warriors, make sure to keep all your current equipment fully upgraded using EP once you have access to the Blacksmith's guild. Make both a Buster Gun and Rondel Dagger as soon as possible in the guild as well; these will be registered to the shop, and once fully upgraded, can be converted to +130 attack and +130 Magic active skills. This will help make the first few generations a lot easier.

You should obtain all brides if following the perfect path, however, I advise you to take Fyuria as your final choice for the next generation.
