How to unlock the What 10,000!? achievement in Record of Agarest War - Definitive Guide
The achievement is called :
What 10,000!? - Dealt over 10,000 damage with a single blow.
I actually got this on accident towards the end of gen 4. What I ended doing was taking Borgnine and putting on (4) Attack +330 bonuses on his bracelet and ring for the final boss battle and somehow it popped during one of the battles leading up to it. His strength was 160, attack was over 2500 and hit was about 220. I used the deadly drive power and 2 other misc ones as the 2nd attacker in my party of 6.
The total damage was around 35k so the other 5 people didn't do much damage in comparison to him. I would think by the end of gen 4 you could teleport back to gen 1 and find some easy creature to do an extreme overkill on and get it that way as well. I would make sure your whole party is lined up on the link squares for him to be on the safe side.

I went back to Generation 1 at the very end of Generation 2 and I had it on Auto and Valfor hit a Goblin with his special for massive damage, I assume I got a Critical hit. Definitely go back to Generation 1 for this...

I got this achievement during the second generation, but its more easy to get it in gen 3 and onward.
The best way to earn this achievement is to use Winfield EX move "Hold Shot". Its a One hit power type attack. Be sure to equip weapons and accessories with good ATK stats and is recommended Wilfield at level 25 or higher.

You must deal at least 10,000 points of damage to the enemy in a single attack. If you decide to grind out the ATK+999 like I mentioned before, then this will come quite naturally to you later on in the game. However, if you decide to do it right now, the best way is to have Leonhardt use Howling Blade while his will power "Unleash All" is active. The attack is a one hit blow and should do well over 10,000 if your attack status is high enough.
This achievement will come naturally even if at the start of the game it seems a long way off. You will first be able to achieve it around the time your characters start gaining access to their EX2 attacks in Generation 2.
