How to unlock the Nirvana...? achievement in Record of Agarest War Zero - Definitive Guide

This achievement requires you to create a marionette of one of your characters from Generation 1. To do so, you need to first find the Forbidden Tome which is located in the dungeon Loger Forest North/South. Near the bottom of the map is a search point called Esprille. Search that point, and the tome is yours.

Afterwards, return to a shop and go to the Alchemist's Guild. Creating a marionette requires gold equal to 5000 times the level of the character. Select the character you want to bring back, and you get the achievement.

Could you not get this Achievement by buying the DLC Forbidden Tomb and then bring back Borgnine?

You can also clear Generation 1 of Digest Mode and then bring back Leonhardt or one of his three brides.

To create a marionette you must first obtain a "Forbidden Tome", there are multiple ways to get a "Forbidden Tome" such as:

  1. Finish Generation 1 and when you reach the "Loger Forest, North" at the bottom right half there will be a treasure point called Esprille that will give you the Forbidden Tome to create maionette's for Sieghart, Friedelinde, Routier and Sayane.
  2. After completing a Generation in Digest Mode through the Door of Destiny you will receive the Forbidden Tome to the protagonist and heroines of that generation.

Once you have obtained a Forbidden Tome head to a town with a shop and look for the "Alchemist's Guild" and there you can purchase the marionettes for the characters from the respective Forbidden Tome. You will receive the character at the level you left them out before they "disappeared" however be aware that the higher there level was the higher the price will be to bring them back.

To create a marionette, you must reach Loger Forest, North in Generation 2. Inside that dungeon on one of the many winding paths, you will find an item named Forbidden Tome 1. Once this item is obtained, go to a town and enter the Alchemist’s Guild. Any past character will be able to be revived for a hefty sum, so it is recommended to save money for the revival procedure. Alternatively, completing any generation in Extra Mode’s “Digest Mode” will automatically give you a Forbidden Tome as well to revive the original game’s heroes and heroines.
