How to unlock the The Important Bits, at Least achievement in Record of Agarest War Zero - Definitive Guide

This achievement is called "The Important Bits, at Least" and it is unlocked for completing Digest Mode. To unlock this achievement, you MUST be on Extra Mode, meaning you have to either import a clear save from Record of Agarest War or beat the game on Normal first. The achievement pops after defeating Chaos in the True End of Digest Mode.

For those of you familiar with Record of Agarest War, you may remember that you had to take a specific path in Fifth Generation to unlock the True End. You don't have to do that in Digest Mode, because it makes plot-critical decisions for you. You will get the True End naturally, you just have to complete it!

To unlock the different sections in Digest Mode, you have to complete sections of Record of Agarest War Zero. The game will tell you when you've unlocked a new section of Digest Mode. Listed below is where the sections should unlock:

First Generation: Near the beginning of First Generation in Agarest Zero, after visiting Trizon Fortress.
Second Generation: At around the middle of First Generation in Agarest Zero, depends on how many Events you trigger.
Third Generation: At the beginning of Second Generation in Agarest Zero.
Fourth Generation: At around the middle of Second Generation in Agarest Zero, depends on how many Events you trigger.
Fifth Generation: Near the end of Second Generation in Agarest Zero, after Scarred Mountains battle.
God Battles: Complete Fifth Generation in Digest Mode.
True End Chaos Battle: Defeat all of the Gods in Digest Mode.
Boundary Plane: At the beginning of True End in Agarest Zero.
Extended Boundary Plane: Complete Digest Mode Boundary Plane and Defeat Chaos in the True End of Digest Mode.

You cannot unlock this trophy until your second playthrough unless you loaded a Record of Agarest Clear Save File!

If you are on your second playthrough or loaded a Record of Agarest Clear Save File then you should be able to access the Door of Destiny which is basically your pathway to Digest mode. In Digest mode you will play through Record of Agarest War, you will be able to view events with heroines, events with the main story and play through the main boss battles of the game. When playing Digest mode it will give you the True End automatically regardless of your decisions and each protagonist will marry the main heroine of each generation as well:

  • Generation 1: Fyuria
  • Generation 2: Valeria
  • Generation 3: Lavinia
  • Generation 4: Hildegard

When completing a Generation of Digest mode you have to back out to back out to move area with and travel to "Agarest" on the world map. There a new route to the next continent (or generation) will open up and you can continue digest mode. The generations are divided into these continents:

  1. Lucrellia
  2. Graccea
  3. Fendias
  4. Enhambre
  5. Aegisthus

After you complete all the generations you will have to face all of the gods in each Agarest continent. They are all located on a pillar in each continent and will have an event symbol above of them. The gods aren't hard to defeat with the right lock down tactic.

To unlock this achievement, you MUST be on Extra Mode. You unlock this after defeating Chaos after completing the rest of Digest Mode.

For those curious about the heroes of Digest Mode, each one is restricted to swords since you cannot choose the brides; instead, the canon choices are made.

  1. Fyuria
  2. Valeria
  3. Lavinia
  4. Hildegard

Once you finish Generation 5 in Digest Mode, you will have to defeat a god on each continent. After doing so, you unlock the fight with Chaos. Defeat him to unlock this achievement.
