Once you can open blue locks (maybe 30-45 minutes into the game) you can enter the door below the second (lower) warp gate you probably found, guarded by the first lizardman you probably faced in the game. First, head right before going down to pick up +10 HP. Then go all the way down, all the way right, and down... eventually you'll get to a save room, and Abram will be right after that.
Abram is a blue water dragon; generally you can use the matching colour spirit to avoid damage from his matching colour attacks. When he jumps over, strike upwards. When he comes straight at you, hover over if you can. When he rears his head out of the water on either side, just get close as quick as you can to stand under his head (avoiding his attacks), and hit him as much as you can before he leaves; repeat until dead.
(Might be your second achievement, or your third if you got the secret "Ingrate" achievement first
