I found a really easy way to get this achievement and the 40x combo achievement in the Warren dungeon which you have to go in on the way to E Tower in the main story. You will be collecting 4 parts to build a flyer bot ,after gaining the second part from a chest it will show a door being opened to your right. When you go through this door you will see a bunch of small flying red enemies making a barrier so you can't go through to the green objective marker. Basically there are red enemies flying above this so as soon as you shoot a enemy in the barrier with red lasers they will be replaced straight away by one of the enemies flying above the door, so all I did was just keep shooting the bottom right two and they would get replaced with new enemies flying above. Keep shooting until you hit 40x combo earning you both the combo achievements! I have just tested this after you have cleared this dungeon in the main story and can confirm it still works!

If you haven't got this there is a spot right at the start of the game, maybe 5 minutes in, if that. there will be a door with all these little spider bot things, ot sure how many but its more than enough. Just hold down both triggers and it will lock on from bot to bot killing them and should get you this achievement.

This can be done right at the start of the game.

At the very beginning when you kill the first few enemies, your character will say something like 'The opening at the top of that cliff, that's our way in.' You will then scale the cliff.

At the top is a door, this door is covered in spiders. Simply kill them all for a 20x combo.

This is easily done in The Warren Dungeon. You will approach a blocked off door after fighting a purple fl-1r bot. The enemies blocking the door will respawn infinitely, as long as you do not destroy the two vents above the door. Build a combo of 40 by shooting the enemies blocking the door as they continue to respawn.
