I think they are aiming for midnight Friday night, but with LIVE cache times and various other things I can't say with any certainty when it will actually show up.

Looks like the TU is live already. When I was told "midnight on Friday" I thought he meant tonight, not this morning. Jump on this if you haven't already!

Just got it today was able to beat #1 on Munich time trial by a second and a half. Some of the #1 times are really lax right now. Get it while you can

I just gave it a whirl and they are good times on there. Couldn't get out of the 100s in my first run throughs. I'd be happy with another 13-14 leaderboard resets.

Same here, if they reset the leaderboards please let me know. I've been triying this since the 160MS sale, and i ended up the second in the first level (chrono), but i swear i really cannot beat the first guy score (i think he's russian or english dont remember now, with 1.00.75 ). I tried everything, but it's really frustrating, so if anyone know if the leaderboards resest someday, please sent me a msg, that would be really awesome.

I have no choice but to skip this part of the achievement.

It is not my fault that they have not reset the leaderboards recently, and the tips above should suffice for anyone trying for this. It is extremely difficult to get this now (I went back in just to test the times). I couldn't break 100th place.
I really don't care how many negatives votes my solutions get (since one just showed up), but I would strongly suggest anyone having trouble with this to contact the developers for another reset.
I will continue to update this solution if I know of another leaderboard reset.

I haven't played the game since, a looooong time, but i finally ended up getting this. I understand the situation of Radiant Sword X for example, cause i felt that frustration too, but i can guarantee you can get it with patience and hard work. Its a pain, but you can get it in the end.

There's no real tip for this, and i find absurd people who're giving bad rep to EnbukanSquirrel, for the solution, cause the only thing you have to do is rank first in any of the stages, there's no solutions or easy way or something like that.

I dunno hows the leaderboards now, but if you find it impossible, just wait a reset or just try to do it the hard way, like myself, not much to say.

I can see where others get pissed because it will be very, very difficult to get this until a reset. If you think about when the game was launched (end of November) and when the first leaderboard reset (Feb 1), it was only 2 months. It's been over 4 months now, so I would guess if they are going to do a reset, it would be anytime now. Then again, if they do not not care about the community (an increasing trend with some developers/publishers), there might not be any.
I would strongly suggest reaching out to them for a reset. If so, post the incident number here, and I will place it in the solution.
It sucks, I know, but they probably won't do anything about it without numerous complaints. It's their leaderboards and not a title update. They should be able to reset the boards pretty easily. If I catch wind of them doing the reset, i will post it and try to let people know individually. Keep in mind I am only one person, and depending how many more say to let them know, I can only do what I can.
IF they do a reset, please just get your one board done for the achievement so others can get this too.

I will continue to admit that this achievement is unobtainable. We're talking about Leaderboard for #1 Place. Hardly everyone could ever achieve that. It may seem that only one person in this entire universe placed #1 all this time. Am I right?

It says unlocked by 24 tracked gamers under the achievement (as of this posting) for TA.com. You have to be #1 on any one track (out of 5). If they do a leaderboard reset and gamers don't go ape crazy with getting the best time ever, than it will be a while before the times get too ridiculous. That's a big stretch as not every gamer out there want/need the achievement as well. The only thing you can do is pay attention to any leaderboard resets and jump on them right away.
They should be doing regular leaderboard resets to make it fair for everyone. Unfortunately, unless people complain (not to me since I have no control over this), then there may not be another reset. As always, let me know if someone catches wind of a leaderboard reset and I will update the solution for it.

Resets? What does that mean? It means nothing. I'm through with this game thanks to this achievement.

Reset mean they clear all the data collected for the leaderboards. Specifically, no will be ranked at that current time. Now this changes when the first person completes out a track (after reset) and then their name pops up in the #1 spot. This will happen with each track each time a person completes it. Achievement requires #1 spot any track. There are 5 tracks to choose from, but only one is need.
Now stay with me here! When a 2nd person completes the same race as the first one, it compares the two times (one from each person- I didn't lose you did I?) and it gives them a 1st place and 2nd rank. Now the 3rd, 4th, 5th person (and further) will race to complete the track and beat the previous times. If they can beat the time of who ever is in 1st, then they become 1st!
This explaination is very specific to this achievement. It explains the leaderboard reset and further explains how to get that #1 spot.
If the concept of a reset still does not make sense, you can google "reset defined" and look for the first entry. This is a proven method to figuring out words that one does not understand.
A reset means everything for trying to get this achievement if you do not have it. If you wish to no longer participate in the wait for a reset or try really hard to beat the 1st place time, then you don't have to. Free will is gift people may use, abuse or through out the window as they see fit. Just so there is no confusion, you can google "free will defined" as well. I recommend the dictionary (physical or online) for any words that do not make sense. I use it for words I am unfamiliar with.
On a side note, I would stay away from Urban Dictionary as the term "free will" is not defined well, and "reset" is no where near the actual definition. This might be where the confusion is, and I would recoomend the Merriam-Webster Dictionary over Urban Dictionary for "real" definitions.

Okay, that's enough about this achievement. I don't have this game anymore and this achievement is the cause. Thank you for telling me about it, but I don't care anymore.

I'm trying this on a dummy account and managed to get 3rd place on one of the time trials after a few tries. I know I can get #1 I just need to take a break because this game is a workout.

I did the same thing pre reset and spend a lot of time trying to get to the top. If the state of the boards is similar to what is was previously it is very very hard to overtake the top times.

YES just got the #1 on a track on a dummy account!! I beat the world record by over a second. Now to do it on my real account. Wonder if there is any way to delete my record on my dummy account to make the time easier for me on my main?

In my experience with leaderboards, there usually is not.

What if I deleted the profile?

You would have to completely remove it from Xbox LIVE, If that is even possible, and even then I'm not sure if it would go away.

I am kind of slow though so I could be wrong.

I'll try to beat my own time. LOL. If I have trouble I'll see if deleting profile and items on it will get rid of it. Its not an important profile.

Just deleting the profile from your Xbox will definitely not remove the time because the profile information is all stored on Microsoft servers.

Yes just got it! Beat my dummy account time. No need to remove my dummy account time now. I already asked microsoft to delete it but oh well. My arms are sore.

Am I correct that this achievement is the only one affected by a leaderboard reset? The others don't seem to be connected to leaderboard times, but I'm not familiar enough with the badges to be sure.

I don't think anybody is entirely sure, but, I think that "goldmember" is also tied to the leaderboads. It seems that you need to be top 100 overall for that one to unlock.

No, only this achievement. Badges and all other achievements can be earned normally. Some are a pain to get, but with practice and determination, you will get them. There is one for racing against "ghosts", which I believe you need to have a friends account to beat. I think I used a second account I had, but please check the solution for that one (not my solution, so I don't remember now).

If I remember correctly you don't have to have a friend's time to beat just somebody on the leaderboards. Having a friend or dummy account post a horrible time that you can effortlessly beat helps speed up the achievement though.

Goldmember achievement is just getting gold against the AI on all 5 tracks. It glitched out for me before when I had all gold and when I reraced one and got silver, it popped.

I asked them to reset the leaderboards when I was playing the game a couple months ago. Didn't think they were going to do it so I had to beat someones time. Can't believe they are actually going to reset them 1 more time.

I claimed the top spot on the Are time trial (qualifier) by just a fraction of a second (on my second attempt. Probably still available if someone can score in under a minute. Pretty doable I think.

I wish I read the comments earlier about the leaderboard reset. Now there's around 200 people on every leaderboard so I'm not going to bother with this.

So it's good to know that because you give up on this achievement, my solution gets a negative vote. Very mature. Perhaps the game is too hard for you. Might I suggest Kinect Sesame Street? Intellectually, it should be right up your ally!

Or Radiant you can try Cabelas Adventure Camp. Actually that might still be too hard.

ok- so heres a positive vote for Enbukan Squirrel- has nothing to do with the achievement itself, but the patience to come back and defend it again and again- seems youve had the roughest time of all- people seem to be more frustrated with these 1 tough cheevo games than most though cheevos games- i.e. try motion sports -if you complete it, theres a record 9765 ta score waiting- your chances- 1 in 10000- but that might be related to sensor calibration- I m just gonna try out this- for pure fun

No this was back before the 2nd reset. I messaged them asking to reset it, they didn't so I did it the hard way, and then 2 months later they reset it.

Last I heard, it was very, very difficult to grab a top spot now.
I have not heard anything about another reset. If I do, I'll edit the solution and message you so you know. Unfortunately, I do not think they will with most companies focusing on X1 games.

I sent the company that created this game an email asking for a reset along with some words. I hope they get back to me and actually do it. If so, I will let everyone know and i will send you a message Enbukansquirrel if they get back to me with some good news.

I been sending messages to them to get a reset and then a member on TA screw us over....ok I now know one guy I really dislike on this site...I managed to get it on a track that I had a better time already from before.

Ugh. I bought this forever ago and never started it... I won't be able to get on for probably another 12 hours... I feel like this will be near impossible again by then :(

I think it is still doable for the next few days at least. So if you want to get this, better try it soon (especially before some people are trying to block the top spots!)

Finally was able to get on today. Beat Mr.Granstaff by .06 on the ARE time trial! That was with hitting 1 object so still could be improved I think.

I got this on Elimination on the Åre track and hit 2 obstacles on the first "lap" and 3 on the second "lap" and still got first place with more than 1 second ahead of second place on first try so this achievement is still very doable. I had a 1:00:00 time on the second "lap" with 3 obstacle hits so you should be able to push below 1 min there without too much trouble if doing it soon before others get it.

It seems like the leaderboards for time trials do not work anymore. It always fails in uploading the ghost.
In normal events it still works.

So the servers have been shutdown for this game. While that means it is impossible to get the achievement through time trials, it is still possible in event races.

Now the times will never be reset again making this more difficult to get than ever. I found the first two stages to already be close to maxed out. However, the Munich race is still possible. Took me about 3 tries to get to 1st and there is still room at the top.

So now I wonder if this is the reason I am never rewarded with the without powering up badge when I have made that one twice....

FWIW, Bongfish has leaderboard resets built into the Stoked games. Hopefully they did the same here.

If you are in slightly less than excellent physical condition expect to be exhausted from attempting this.
If you do get it congrats.

If the game says block do it. Crashing will kill your chances. Pull your arms up in front of your face to block.

The #1 times all seem to be around 1 minute per race already so this is probably going to be a first come first served kind of achievement...

I have not progressed into later tracks and don't plan on doing so. No need to make it any harder for others than it already is going to be,...

I hope they do a weekly or monthly reset to allow others to get this. Eventually someone will beat my times since I messed up a few times.
I agree with izert102 that you will be exhausted after this, and with DBB Klikopedia that these cheevos shouldn't be included. Everyone should have the chance to get them without trying to kill themselves in the process.

Also a friend pointed out i got number 1 on Are by taking rails. I hadn't even noticed i was so focused on swinging my arms. But it took me above a wall i would have had to block or crash through and probably shaved a few seconds off my time.

You get to race ghosts on trials after you beat them so see how the number 1 guy did it and try to follow his path. If you can get a better start or take a turn better you might still get lucky. But rails are definitely not always your enemy.

I've been trying to figure out where we can talk to the dev/pub about issues. Bongfish has forums, but only for Stoked. I can't find any forums on the Red Bulls site. I've tweeted @Bongfish to see if they can help with the 2 achievements that seem glitched. If I get a reply, I'll ask about leaderboard resets as well.
