Butchered

Butchered

Red Dead Online: You sold 20 items to the Butcher.

How to unlock the Butchered achievement in Red Dead Redemption 2 - Definitive Guide

Quite a simple one. Once you've completed the intro, butchers will be available around the map as indicated by a cleaver icon. As you ride around, shoot and kill animals and be sure to skin them. Once you have 20 animal items (hides, meat, feathers, horns etc) travel to the butchers and sell them.

They don't have to be 20 unique items, mine popped selling 3 raven flight feathers. However, as has been pointed out, you need to sell them in a single session so as not to reset your counter.

As Notorious Gronk points out, try killing turkeys as you get 2 meat, 2 feathers and their carcass from each kill.

I recommend looking for turkeys. 3 turkeys gave me 6 feathers and 6 pieces of meat, plus the 2 carcasses strapped on the horse.

I sold 5 animal items but the tracker only went up for 2? Does it not count for all animal parts?

Looks like I had to do it in one session - it reset each time I logged out. Hence the tracker was not moving - same thing for the crafting achvt tio

Was about to ask if its glitched as I've sold way over 20 but last comment says it has to be in one session and I believe that's correct

Pretty easy, don't need to be forced, I made it naturally playing the story.

Knocked this out pretty much right away. Kinda dumb that it needs to be in one session, but oh well, did it all together.

I didn’t sell mine in one session, in fact I even sold some a couple of months apart and the Achievement unlocked fine

Move your camp to Bayou Nwa and here you can find lots of different animals to kill and harvest. Once you have 20 items from animals go to a butcher and sell them all and you will gain the Butchered achievement. You can see me gain the achievement at 7.18 in the video below.

The items that you can sell to a butcher are animal parts, in my experience anything you can get from skinning an animal can be sold to a butcher be it skins, meat, hantlers, feathers, the carcass of an animal and even fish counts.

To acquire those parts you simply need to kill animals and then skin them for animal parts, each animal will you give between 1 and 5 animal parts when you skin it, depending on the animal type and available space on your inventory. Simply kill 5-10 animals and you should have enough items to get this trophy.

Butchers can be found in Valentine, Strawberry, Rhodes, Saint Denis, Blackwater and Tumbleweed. To sell an item simply approach the Butcher, press to open the interaction menu and then .

Butchers are located in cities. Just sell them loot from your bag. There are only 20 items for the trophy.

As far as I understand, the trophy is buggy. I sold 1 piece of meat to an ordinary butcher and they immediately gave me . My friend had the same thing

It’s easier to shoot ducks by the river and sell the feathers.

Once in free mode, organize a mass genocide of living creatures in the area, with mandatory skinning or plucking. So you can remove a lot of things from a carcass - feathers, horns, meat, fat, skins. Then run to the mechanic and drain it all.
