Red Dead Online: You reached Rank 10.
How to unlock the Getting Started achievement in Red Dead Redemption 2 - Definitive Guide
Reaching Rank 10 will take a total of 1875 XP, and unlocks:
Ability - Come Back Stronger; Horseman
Clothing - Millwright Boots
Horse Accessory - Birch 'Wide Belly' Horn
Weapon - Bow
Ranking up on Red Dead Redemption 2 online is achieved by doing pretty much anything. Taking part in matches/series, completing story or stranger missions, completing awards challenges, or even just hunting, fishing, and collecting herbs will earn the player XP.
With this in mind reaching rank 10 will pretty much come naturally. However if you want to speed up the process slightly I would suggest either competing in lots of matches, or just focusing on stranger missions.
Reaching each new rank will unlock a few items for purchase from in game vendors too, such as guns, clothing, and accessories. You can check the rank up unlocks, as well as your progress to the next rank by pressing the button and choosing the "Progress" option, then the "Rank Unlocks" option. This will also allow you to see your past unlocks, as well as all future unlocks (so you know when you will be able to sport that snazzy new holster!). You will also receive a new Treasure Map every 5 ranks starting from Rank 10.

So I noticed I was at 90% for this achievement and started playing online yesterday. I'm now rank 11 online and still have not received the achievement. I'm I going to have to delete my character and start from level 1 again? I know at one point I link my account to playstation so I don't know if that affected it.

I've not heard about this one being buggy, hopefully it's jus a delayed unlock. If you do have to start again and you want to level up quickly, finding collectibles (you can find a daily interactive map online) is a super fast way to fly up the ranks. I hope you manage to get it without any more issues!

There is no need to grind the trophy/level, it turns out quite easily even during the online campaign (or even towards the end of the first or second missions). You can do missions both solo and with a group (with a group they seem to give more Experience + additional experience (about 5-10%) if you pre-ordered the game/deluxe version)
But for the level 50 trophy you will have to work hard
