Heya folks,

There are currently four minigames that give you progress towards this achievement.
Now I don't know if minigames pop up in different locations depending on the player so I'm just going to point out which minigames there are and where I got them:

Five Finger Fillet: First spotted in the smaller saloon in Valentine.
Dominos: First spotted by the stagecoach at Emerald Station.
Poker: First spotted during the first mission for the Reverend. You will take his place in a game.
Blackjack: First spotted not long after visiting Rhodes. The big saloon in town has/had a game going on the upper floor.

Fingers crossed these all spawn in the same locations for you. Please note that you don't need to win the game or a round or anything. Blackjack was obviously my last one and the achievement popped for me more or less as soon as I sat down to play.

Edit #1: Thanks to a 2rue boofer for pointing out you may need to play five finger fillet with someone to have it unlock. I apologise if this is what you are missing. I remember playing fillet with Lenny but I didn't think it counted.
Edit #2: There is potentially an opportunity to play dominos with Abigail at the first camp by Valentine. Please take note I only saw this on a stream so I'm not sure how long you have to be at that first camp before it shows up.

Hmmm did all 4 mini games (they all show up in the 'Help' section) but it did not unlock the achievement.

Got it to unlock, had to play 5 finger filet against someone and not solo like you can in some of the saloons. Maybe make note of that in the solution? Thanks for the other pointers

You can play domino's in the first camp outside Valentine. I believe that's the earliest you can do that

I'm having trouble with Blackjack. Whenever I go to the saloon in Rhodes, the blackjack table is empty and I am unable to play it. Is it only playable at a certain time of day or something?

You should change the Five Finger Fillet location to Strawberry. It's located lower left of the town near the stagecoach. This place has a player at the table waiting to play.

You can play 5 finger against someone at Valentine too - the table was empty first time I went there, but second time there was an opponent. Might depend on the time of day?

Yeah sometimes I think you've just gotta wander around for a sec while someone spawns in and gets to the table. Anytime I've done 5FF there it's been at about midday but I definitely did have an occasion or two where no one was there. I just wandered around the room and outside the front door, grabbed a drink and some oatmeal from the bartender and someone showed up.

That's a good question actually. I have only been there at nighttime and played, I think because that's the time of day it's most full. Unfortunately I don't actually now an alternative location that you can find Blackjack at. I believe I've seen it at Saint Denis in Lemoyne but I've not played it there sorry.

All mini games and mini game locations become available during Chapter 2, after a mandatory game of Poker. An important note is that some game instances are in temporary locations, and some are permanent. The below listed are permanent.

Playing 1 game of each will unlock the achievement.

Poker: Mandatory as part of the story; also in the main Saloon in Valentine.
Five Finger Fillet: Inside of the smaller Saloon in the town of Valentine.
Dominoes: At the Emerald Station (accessible by train).
Blackjack: The town of Rhodes (accessible by train), second story of the Saloon.

I believe the game you play may need to cost money and be in one of the towns. I had played all the games multiple times and no achievement. I realized most of the times I had done FFF it was in camp or solo so I tried in Van Horn and got the achievement

Personally I don't like much of some minigames. In case of RDR2, specially blackjack. Dominoes and poker are fun.

Dominoes, FFF and poker appear randomly in the camp at night.
Personally, Tilly offered me dominoes in the second chapter, sitting at a table near the hitching posts.
