How to unlock the Series Major achievement in Red Dead Redemption 2 - Definitive Guide

When you have completed the prologue for red dead 2 online. open the map and look for an icon called showdown series large and set a waypoint and go to it . Once there press to search and once you have pressed it wait until you are in a game complete the match and the achievement will pop.


Some one has gave a negative vote can you please explain why?

if you are looking for showdown series, the best way to do is go to online main menu, you can choose it right there.

From the description it's not clear, but I didn't get this doing a race 'series'. I'm guessing it has to be a showdown series?

Simple enough, used the online menu like the above comment suggested. Got it right as the match ended.

Does showdown series no longer exist? I don't have that as an option, i got this from one called Shootout Series

play any series and it should unlock at the very end of the match (even after you die for example), you can also hit x on the icon on the map to play it

Hello everyone

This is a super easy trophy! Just complete a race or a small or large multiplayer match. Once the game finishes the trophy will pop and that’s it! Can be done from in game map or start screen.

You'll be able to access a series at any point after the introduction to multiplayer has concluded. Series matches can be found in one of three ways. First, tap to bring up the Free Roam menu. Next, select Quick Join from the list to bring up an assortment of Series events. A second method is by pausing the game and going to Online. From there, you can navigate to the Series match of your choice by clicking its relevant tile. A final way to access Series matches can be done upon booting the game up from the main menu. Tap to switch from the Story screen to Online, if need be. From there, simply click on the Series tile of your choice. There are three types of series in the game, which include the following:
  • Showdown Series: A range of modes for up to 16 players including Battle royal, Team Deathmatch, Territory Capture, etc.
  • Showdown Series Large: A range of modes similar to the regular Showdown Series, except lobbies can reach a maximum size of 32 players.
  • Race Series: Includes a range of standard point to point and open races.
Note the match you join, either from the start or in progress, must be completed in order to obtain the trophy. Showdown and Showdown Large can be joined in the midst of a match so long as it isn't a Battle Royale mode. Horse races must be spectated if you join in the middle of an event.

The trophy is given for completing any “series of confrontations” task. Marked on the map as three men. These are shootouts with other players. It doesn't matter if you win or lose. The main thing is to finish.

The trophy is given not for a series of confrontations, but for a series of games. I only played a series of races and got this trophy
