9001 points in a single Free Roam session can be a daunting task, but with the help of The Great Legend Shemp Howard you can have this done in as little as 15 minutes.

At Twin Rocks you can earn around 600 XP a minute if you can clear the hideout fast enough. Currently if you clear this hideout in under a minute you will average about 600 XP. 600 XP a minute is great XP. When you go to Twin Rocks you will want to bring a Evans Repeater (from the Pike's Basin hideout) and/or a Bolt Action Rifle (from the Tumbleweed hideout). The first time you do the Twin Rocks hideout make sure you go inside for the Mauser pistol. It is a great weapon to take out the Walton's Gang from up close.

Before you start make sure you have a full meter of Dead Eye and make sure you have multiplayer aiming set to Casual in the options. For the best score make sure you kill all 22 Walton's Gang members in one kill combo. If you kill them under the one minute mark you will get an average of 600 XP.

You will want to do this in a Private Free Roam session as well so you will not run into any griefers.

This achievement is not that difficult to get if you do gang hideouts as suggested, but don't do it in private. Ideally do it with friends or other people in free roam doing the same achievements as you can combine it with the 50k posse achievement.

After-all when you've got 9000 you're practically 1/5th of the way to that achievement.

Enter into a Friendly Free Roam session. First thing you’ll want to do is whistle for your mount (D-pad up). If it doesn’t come, you’re in a glitched lobby, and can proceed with the solution; if it does come, you’ll need to find a new session (Back + Friendly Free Roam).

Note:
Glitched lobbies seem very inconsistent; you may start out in a glitched lobby, then at some point it may change from being glitched. This might have something to do with people leaving and entering the lobby. Also, if someone gets too close to the hideout, it seems to prevent you from being able to continuously complete it. A lot of the time if you just wait long enough, the lobby will return to being glitched. Just be aware, if you leave the session, your points will reset.

Now bring up the map and place a waypoint on the Fort Mercer Gang Hideout (directly below Rio Bravo). Proceed to the nearest Transport (fast travel wheel icon on map), access it, and press A to warp to your waypoint.

Once you arrive, you’ll immediately complete the Hideout and receive 400 XP. Press left on the D-pad to replay the Hideout; again, you’ll immediately complete it and receive 400 XP. Now, continue spamming left on the D-pad and you will continue to replay/complete it, each time netting you 400 XP.

Soon enough, you will reach 9001 points and the achievement will pop. Hope this was helpful and happy hunting!
