How to unlock the Back At Ya! achievement in Red Faction: Armageddon - Definitive Guide

This achievement requires you to have an enemy kill themselves by deflecting back their own attacks of your Shell. Now you will need to purchase 3 upgrades, Shell, Shell Boost and Reflective Shell, costing a total of 3500 credits. To unlock the final upgrade you need to be around the 75% completion mark, then you will need to be in an open area full of enemies Press cn_RB + cn_B to activate your Shell, then pray an enemy shoots itself and destroys itself. Would recommend trying this on the medium sized enemies because they attack from range.

I'll assume anyone reading this has already fully upgraded the Shell...

I got this on the first level after you defeat the alien queen. After you start the level and head down the catwalks you'll reach a wide-open area in front of a large building. In this area are a couple of those large enemies that fire green exploding projectiles at you. Activate the shell by pressing RB+B, and when one of those big guys fires at you the shield will deflect the projectiles right back at him and will probably kill him in one shot.

Can be earned in Infestation mode.

For this, you will need this Tier 4 Shell Upgrade, Reflective Shell. This costs 1,500 salvage. To use Shell, hold R2.png and press circle18x18.png (in campaign) or press R2.png (when it is selected in Infestation) whenver your nano charge is full. A large nanite shield will form around the player, that reflects enemy explosives with the Upgrade Reflective Shell. Weaken a Ravager as much as possible, then cast a Shell and have it shoot at you while you're behind the shield. If the Ravager is firing an explosive projectile as opposed to the standard laser projectile, it will reflect back at them, killing them.

You can't buy the Shell nano power until fairly late on in the game, and you have to wait until even later on in the game so that you can upgrade the shell power so that it rebounds enemy fire back at the shooters. To activate your shell power hold and then press . As you upgrade it, the duration, size and the rebound function will unlock which makes this achievement possible and easier. This achievement can also be gained on Infestation mode.
