You start a killing spree after getting 3 kills in quick succession of each other. You should get a notification on the right side of your screen when you get a killing spree. Killing sprees accumulate, so you must get 25 seperate killing sprees.

To get a killing spree, you need to kill 3 enemies in quick succession and you will get loads without even trying. You will get this trophy long before you finish the Campaign so don't worry about it.
