How to unlock the Red Faction Member achievement in Red Faction: Guerrilla - Definitive Guide

This is a simple achievement to obtain. Once you have completed the Campaign, just join a game on Xbox Live with another player that has also completed it.

This CAN be a Player Match. The achievement will not pop until the match is complete. Any match will do.

Just wanted to note that contrary to some rumors, both players must have completed the campaign for this to pop.

@Skins - as a test, did you have him just create a quick save file? He doesn't need to get too far into the game to do that obviously, but it would be interesting if that's the reason it isn't popping ...

If it checks for game save it probably checks for a completed game save, not just any game save.

i can CONFIRM its not tied to the achievement and a save file is needed it will not work with an Autosave

As an FYI, and looking for someone else to confirm, i tried getting this for a buddy for the viral month. He had completed the campaign, as had I, but the achievement didn't pop. When we looked in to why he told me that he didn't have any save game data on his xbox, although he did have the achievement on his gamercard. Don't know how the coding for this achievement works but it appears that it checks for save game data possibly rather than for the Red Dawn achievement.

This trophy is semi-viral in that both players must have finished the Campaign but the trophy description falsely implies only the other person needs to have finished the Campaign, Terminator found this out the hard way.

It’s enough just to go through the entire single player game, and then play in any online game mode, where any team (yours or the enemy’s) has a person who has also completed the campaign.
