Great video. But I can confirm that pausing does not stop the timer. You will need to memorise every single move and jump. Just tried it and added 2 minutes to my best time.

At the crouch jump just jump and spam the crouch button instead of trying to time it.

Fuck that crouch jump, scuppered so many runs, in the end I did that in reverse went around the back and jumped from there. Got it consistently 1st time every time. Got the achievement a few runs later with 3:44 on the clock.

This is an excellent guide. However, the most difficult part are easily the last two buttons. You can spend four minutes on those pieces of shit alone lol. After you practice them a couple of times you can easily master them though. You made some great shortcuts in your video. +1

Just a tip: if you don't like hitting rb for jumping then go to your settings and remap it something more comfortable. I swapped it with the A button and it feels more fluid like to me.

The guide button trick I think adds an extra 1-2 seconds or so, from time still counted while pausing/unpausing vs. when you have control. Keeping just about the same pace as the guide and doing about 10 guide button pauses on my second try I ended at 3 minutes 58 seconds. My first try where I paused at every button press I ended at 4:55. Worst case scenario you just need to practice a little and learn the route so you don't need to pause as much. Can still pause a bunch and get under 4 minutes though.

I beat this in less then 4 minutes twice today so far, and the achievement didn't pop for me.

*Update* Beat it two more times and still no achievement. Beat it in 3:53.92 during my last playthrough with the screenshot uploaded to my account.
It's the only achievement I'm missing.

Got back on it tonight and beat it in something like 4:57, and for some reason the achievement popped this time. I had no luck with it popping when I was under 4:00.

3:58 on my 6th attempt or so. I actually was about to cancel my run but then decided to finish it to get some more practice. Had a really good ending sequence.
IMO the beginning is easy and once you get to the trampolines it's very basic except for the very last button. The middle is the hardest due to sometimes not knowing where the next button is. Dusk or dawn make that even worse. Gameplay-wise it's not hard at all.

RubensX, when you hit the jump button as the platform is rising, it throws you up a little further. You just need to time the jump at some point after the water is below you, so you can't do it as soon as your view breaks the water. Wait a split second or so. You should get it eventually via trial and error.

3:48! I looked at your guide as a blueprint and then ran through a couple times, was getting around 415. Now w this may just be me but, on my last run that. Got 3:48 on I went into OPTIONS and change the field of view to the max number, 180 I think, got it first try. Helped immensely! Was able to see the whole map essentially while running around so no matter night or day was easy to see everything. Might help to mention if it'll help some people. Thanks for the great video demo!😁

The best way for me to do it was to memorize it. Take a guide From youtube like from maka91, because you dont have to miracly jump or whatever. Take your time, practice it with The guide, and after a few tries, you'll do it on your own. With The homebutton strategy you still loose a Bit of time, cause well... Lags.

Speedrun of 3:49 for Refunct.
This isn't the fastest route, but it's a pretty easy route to run with practice. Use momentum to get extra height at the start and accurate wall jumps. Practice practice practice, you'll get it eventually. Good luck!

In my speed run i show that there is PLENTY of room for error as long as you Keep Moving and know where you are going. I wasn't as fast as BiLLzuMaNaTi and DefEdge who both have incredibly wonderful guides by the way!

But i did watch the routes they took. i couldn't do all of the jumps they made but I have a video i recorded for a visual of how i did it in 3:57:13. Not incredibly fast, but it was under time and fast enough to snag the achievement! Practice. and Good Luck!

Here is my video guide for this achievement. I do not wish to take anything away from the above guides as they are all exceptional. This is my first attempt at a guide and im looking to get a start in uploading videos so this video is more for feedback from you all. how i can improve etc.

Important tips for the speedrun
- Don't stress, there is so much room for error, i think in my video i added 30 seconds just through mistakes
- Practice makes perfect, learn the route.
- Try and practice the assisted leap at the start of the level as it can save 5-10 seconds and give you that extra bit of breathing room.

This achievement really is easier than it sounds, with even myself doubting that i could even accomplish it and so i put the game to the side without intending to return to it until last night.
I hope you enjoy and any feedback is welcome.

You must complete the level in less than 4 minutes to unlock this achievement. To do this, you need to take the shortest route to each red button.

This achievement might take a few attempts as you learn the level. You will need to anticipate where the next red button will appear. As it says, you need to complete the game(by getting to the yellow button) within 4 minutes. As daunting as this might sound, it shouldn't be a problem if you're at all into speedrunning, with people reportedly getting times below 3 minutes.

But if you're like me and not that much into speedrunning(or just rather bad at skill based games, also like me), this is still quite doable. I spent 2.5 hours total playing this game before I managed to get this as my last achievement. Just keep going through the game - the fastest way to move through it will naturally become obvious as you play, and you'll have the achievement in no time!
