There is no individual character level in this game but only for the whole party.
So completing dungeons should normally grant you this one a while before the end of the story.
Also playing on the easiest difficulty and simply skipping the battles will be the fastest way to do this as it also nets you the challenges for each battle granting extra xp for most battles.
If you don't have this after finishing all dungeons there is an option for additional fights after the end of the story but this should not be neccessary.
