Not sure if this is mentioned in any of the other achievement guides or walkthroughs, but figured I'd fill in the missing info for this achievement.
All you need to do is get outside of the arena whilst in high score mode. Easiest way is to build up speed and let yourself fly over the surrounding walls. The hoverboard upgraded makes this achievement incredibly easy (found in a hidden area in level 2). It should be noted that this achievement can be obtained on any stage.

It can be done easily on the rightmost level, Forge, dropping into lava
