How to unlock the Fashion is Danger achievement in Remnant: From the Ashes - Definitive Guide
There's a total of 48 armor skins (purely cosmetic) that you can buy from the latest DLC.
If you haven't played in a while, if you look on your minimap in Ward 13, you'll see four blue people icons on the left, go to that room and you'll meet the mute merchant. The merchant is situated right next to the Root Mother.
In order to buy any of the armor skins, you'll need lots of scraps (in-game currency) and Glowing Fragments. Scraps and Glowing Fragments can be earned in Campaign, Adventure, and/or Survival.
In Survival, the bosses will guarantee a drop and if you're lucky, elite and special monsters will drop them too. The same goes for Campaign and Adventure. The higher the difficulty, the more you receive.
Update: Thanks to Amethystine, due to the arrival of new armors in the final DLC, it now only takes a total of 22,000 scraps and 550 Glowing Fragments to earn this achievement. Make sure to exhaust all the helmets and pants first when buying these cosmetic pieces and save chest pieces for last.
You'll need a total of about 26,000-28,000 scraps and about 650 - 675 Glowing Fragments depending on which pieces you buy with chest pieces being the most expensive.
On a side note, in order to equip your skins, just go to your inventory and highlight the skin you bought and you'll see an option at the bottom of the screen that says " Select Skin."
EDIT:
Now for the farming method. There are two ways but I prefer the latter.
1) Solo Adventure on Hard - You can choose any world you're comfortable with or choosing a world where you need to farm for a particular item can be beneficial. If you get 3 bosses to spawn in a world, the first and second boss will each give 3 x Glowing Fragments, and the last boss will give 5 x Glowing Fragments giving you a total of 11 x Glowing Fragments per 3 boss run on Hard Adventure. Obviously, if you're more skilled, then, by all means, raise it to Apocalypse. If it's similar to Survival, then your fragments received should double to 22 x Glowing Fragments per run. If anyone can confirm this; I will gladly give you credit for it. For me, this takes anywhere between 30 - 60 minutes while trying to make a beeline for each boss and only killing mobs in my direct path on Hard; I imagine it would take longer on Apocalypse.
2) Co-op Corsus Adventure Normal- this method requires a minimum of 2 people. There is a dungeon on Corsus called Fetid Pools with a cage that has 25 Glowing Fragments in it (which is equivalent to 8 bosses on hard). I recommend 2 (best if 3) people start their own game and everyone tries to find The Fetid Pools. Use this picture to find the entrance.
Keep in mind, if you see this entrance, you have five possible dungeon spawns: Hall of Whispers (leads to Dream Eater boss), The Fetid Pools (what you want), Needle Lair (leads to Barbed Terror boss), Strange Pass (leads to a mid-boss called Brain Bug for a new DLC quest) and Iskal Temple that leads to the Iskal Queen fight. If you see any entrance that does not match the picture, skip it and look elsewhere. Each rolled world in Adventure can have 3 potential bosses or 2 bosses, and an event quest or a combination. So for example, if you see the areas that lead to The Thrall, The Unclean One, and Ixilis bosses, then you can safely reroll your world to try again. Once one person finds it, they invite the other people into their world.
Once you enter The Fetid Pools, you and your partner must find a Rusted Amulet (the only purple item in the dungeon) that's usually found behind an orangeish-reddish breakable wall (melee or shoot it) or lying somewhere on the ground. Comb every inch of the dungeon! One person picks it up, everyone gets it. Have one person equip the Rusted Amulet, crouch and stay still in an acid pool found in the dungeon until you become corroded. If it doesn't work the first time, try using another pool.
Use these images as reference.
This will turn the Rusted Amulet into an Acid Cleansed Key. DO NOT let the next person convert their amulet to a key until the current Acid Cleansed Key is used on a door. You'll find a checkpoint to the north of the dungeon where you'll see several locked doors surrounding the checkpoint. Use the first Acid Cleansed Key on the door seen in this picture.
Then have the 2nd person equip their Rusty Amulet, go back to the acid pool, and repeat the process. Then once you receive the 2nd Acid Cleansed Key, head back to the checkpoint area and go up the stairs of the door you just opened and you'll see a door on the right with a bunch of red Glowing Fragments in there as seen in this picture.
Use the key to open that and receive your 25 x Glowing Fragments. Reroll Adventure on Corsus and repeat. Each run, if lucky, can take about 25-35 minutes. The hard part of doing this is getting The Fetid Pools to spawn in your world. Sometimes, because of RNG, it can take a while to get The Fetid Pools, but with 3 people, someone should eventually run into it. Best run I had was with 3 people. In 2 hours, we got 125 x Glowing Fragments. Thanks to KushedxX and Dragon Tengu for running it with me to confirm that the 25 x Glowing Fragments are there when you reroll.
UPDATE: Gutsy Goddess recommended that I make a video for the players that don't like to read giant walls of text. Thank you Gutsy Goddess for your assistance in making this video. The first door is already open from a Rusted Amulet from a previous attempt (Yes, you can save Rusted Amulets but only one per person if you have 3 so only 2 people will use their amulets unless you want to open more doors in the area).
Finally, I am aware that you can do this method solo but the amount of time needed to reroll both Campaign and Adventure (or finding the Fetid Pools twice in Adventure mode) will exponentially increase the amount of time needed to gain the required number of Glowing Fragments to get the achievement. If it takes a group of people 30 minutes to do it, by yourself, even if RNG is on your side can take you up to 3-4 hours minimum for only 25 fragments. You're better off doing method # 1 or 2 instead.
If there's anything else I need to add, change or improve upon, please let me know in the comments.

How and when can you talk to him? There’s no option when I approach him?!?
By Bully of Smeg on 05 Jun 2020 22:43
Hey Bully,
If you're unable to talk to him, try going into the Labyrinth first and come back out. It's also possible that you may need at least one Glowing Fragment to trigger him to be able to trade with you. I just played a few games and failed and went to see where he was and he spawned.

In addition to Mr. SyncTheTempest's excellent guide above, I'd like to add a little twist that my coop partners and I came up with, to the coop method mentioned in his guide. With this, you will need to find the fetid pools dungeon only twice, which will significantly reduce the amount of time needed to farm all the 550 glowing fragments required for this achievement. You can get it done in no longer than 1 hour once everything is set up (no kidding).
The trick is simply to use the good 'n' old cloud saving manipulation. Follow Mr. SyncTheTempest's guide to the letter, but once you open the second door with the 25 glowing fragments in it, DON'T pick up the glowing fragments just yet! Here's what you must do:
1 - The host must save the game, and then completely close the game. Go to the dashboard and wait about 1 or 2 minutes so that your save will sync with the cloud.
2 - Open the game again, and then invite your teammates to the game.... Then collect the 25 glowing fragments. The guests must leave the session as soon as the glowing fragments are collected.
3 - The host will now quickly delete the LOCAL save (without closing the game!!!). Then open the game again and recover the save from the cloud.
4 - Now load your save, invite the guests, and you will notice that the 25 glowing fragments are back again, ready to be collected again...
Just repeat the steps 2, 3 and 4 above until you have enough fragments. Please notice that this method will only work for the guests, so all of this will have to be done twice, so the guy that hosted first may benefit from this as well. But even so, it will be much, much faster than doing the farm without cloud saving manipulation.

you need 2 people. do adventures swamp of corsus. at the first location, look for a spire with an entrance, in this spire a “stinking ponds” map should be generated, look on the map for a purple object “rusty amulet” (do not pick up) if there is one, then the host who has the card comes out and throws the save into the cloud. go to the map, pick up an amulet on your neck and on the same map there are green puddles, get into the puddle and don’t move. the amulet will turn into a purified key, you will have 2 of them. on the same map there will be closed doors, behind one of them there will be a ladder, with one key we open it at the top, we open the second door with red fragments, there are 25 of them. We select and save ourselves at the fire. the host exits and copies the MIR file from the cloud to the system. connect and repeat everything all over again. The circle took us 6 minutes. in total you need 550 fragments, 18 hats of 10 fragments each, 18 pants of 15 each and 4 armor of 25 each.

Red easy shards are farmed in survival mode. I advise you to first knock out the trophy for 10 bosses, and then finish off the latest craze
By Pohi1296 on 07 Nov 2020 14:15
Everything written above is correct. But I don’t advise you to bother with saves, it’s simply not necessary.
Runs in 2m with a friend and look for the desired location, as one found, we connect to him and do it, disperse and repeat.
Plus, while you knock out 10 bosses, you will knock out 130-200 fragments. The higher the difficulty, the more fragments.
