How to unlock the Fire in the Sky achievement in Remnant: From the Ashes - Definitive Guide
My second time fighting Singe, I actually was able to defeat him. He seems worse than any other boss, especially solo but he isn't. I've been playing about 60 hours and I've only seen Singe twice so far. Supposedly if you see the Ent you won't see him but when I defeated Singe I had already seen the Ent
My actual time going into the fight, and not just dying and re-rolling saying eff that guy, my gear score was 19. I brought the Repeater Pistol with Hot Shot Mod, Sniper Rifle with Radioactive Volley, Drifter Coat and Trouser's and the Twisted Mask. Even though I main the Sub machine gun, the Repeater reloaded faster for me and had a higher damage output per round than the SMG, Hunting Rifle or even the Magnum because they all reload way too slowly and you have to have a quick reload or you're going down, my Sniper rifle was between 10 and 15 and was doing 341 damage per round even without scoping in on him and a lot of the time I was just shooting through smoke unable to see him waiting for the reticule to turn Red
Whatever you bring to this fight make absolutely sure it reloads and fires quickly as you'll be constantly on the move and have to deal with Singe and 4 of his minions. Bring ammo boxes, Hydro Coolant and Bloodwort, I found the Bloodwort quicker to use than the Dragon Heart plus I had more of the former vs the latter. When I'd get below half health I'd pop Bloodwort and it'd keep me topped up so I never heard my character say I was in trouble
Take note of the cars, the puddles, the buildings and how much room you have to move around in this arena, then do your best to stay away from the puddles and the cars. The puddles will light you on fire when Singe sets them on fire and the cars can hurt you if they explode close to you
When you go into the fight, he'll crawl down from a building and stand you down, then battle begins. What you want to do is get away from him. In this sense when he throws fireballs and does his flamethrower attack you will have enough time to react. His flamethrower attack cannot be dodged or avoided as he sweeps it from side to side trapping you in the middle and you will get burnt but there are 4 buildings on each corner of his arena that will block his Fireball and Flamethrower attack, but in time they will be destroyed, piece by piece, first the outer walls, then the supports, don't stay in one area that long as you need the cover. Don't even worry about using the cars for cover as they'll likely be destroyed by the time Singe looses 1/4 of his health.
To begin this fight move to the left or right to get away from Singe and start shooting him in the face, since you're close to him use your main gun to pump as much ammo into his ugly face while dodging his Fireball. You're probably on fire right now so roll as much as you can to lessen the burning then duck into a building and pop some Hydro Coolant. If you've lost more than half your health pop some Bloodwort.
Try not to use your ammo boxes as they take way too long, but do attack any of his minions that get close to you, the deadwoods will turn into Immolators when you shoot them but you don't want to be wrapped up in melee attacks and catch a Fireball in the back. They'll often drop ammo for both of your guns, if you don't need it just remember where it's at so when you run back by you can pick it up and jam it in one of your guns, I noticed that I got ammo for my main much more than I got Long Gun Ammo.
Keep to the outskirts of the arena jumping in and out of buildings and just keep moving. When Singe raises up on his back feet try and shoot him in the chest a few times before the AOE he launches hits you. I was only ever attacked by one minion at a time. Keep your eyes on Singe every single minute. He tends to like staying away from you but you need to see his attacks so that you can dodge them. Sometimes he takes off running from where hes at to your location and does a sideways skid towards you like he's trying out for the next Fast and the Furious and others have said he does some devastating melee damage but for me he just got in real close without hitting me, turned to face me and then spammed more Fireballs, but I was already gone.
His attacks are very quick, and they can stagger you but he has periods between attacks and never once followed up one attack with another attack, thus I was never pinned down and could get away. I had Radioactive Volley stacked but never just jammed on the button emptying it out. It doesn't cause much damage to him but if any of the Deadwoods are close to you it'll wipe them out. If you use it only try to use it twice at one time, once to clear anything out close to you and once to hit him
The fight took me about 10 minutes and can be pretty intense but it's also pretty doable. Just bring your best weapons, keep moving and if you die just try to learn from each time

This boss can become very simple with the right teammate.
Our DUO strategy was I kill the trash mobs and he focuses the boss.
My stats were around 90 Armor (25 weight) a shotgun+5 (summon mod) and the default pistol+5 (hunters mod)
His stats were about the same but he was running a sniper+5 instead of the shotgun.
The boss has a few attacks flamethrower, fireball and a charge up one that summons fire below you
flamethrower try to stand away from him behind cover if possible.
fireball with light weight (-26) the fast roll is enough to dodge this but pillars and the trash mobs can all block this ball.
final attack this attack is a little more complicated he doesn’t start till more than half dead he will stand up on his back legs and stretch out his wings when fire appears on the tips is when to dodge. Once you figure out the Difference a simple run or dodge will be enough for this attack.
final notes learning the attacks and trash control is priority.
solo focus on killing the trash as fast as possible.
duo one person on the boss while the other takes out the trash mobs.
trio I would have 2 on the boss but it may be better to have 2 on trash.
my first actual guide, can definitely be improved. Thanks

By Zyzden on 23 Aug 2019 18:13
He is the final boss for earth, it's a 50% spawn chance.
The other boss is called Ent.

In this video guide I will show you how to defeat Singe. You will encounter him not to long after you meet the root mother. The area I found him in was a side area next to where you can fast travel called Mud Tooth's Hideout. From there it should be on the bottom right of the map if the roll for the campaign is the same. Just head to that side area and enter. Once through the doorway you should see the map and area I am in the video. Once you are ready enter the smoky doorway.
A few things you might want to know about Singe and his attacks. He will mostly use a fireball attack which he will tend to shot two or three in a row. These are easily dodged since he has some pauses before he fires it again.
Another move would be his what I call flamethrower breath. You will notice this once he rears his back a bit and starts to turn his head from right to left spraying fire while he does so.
From time to time he will also do a charge attack to close the gap between you and him. So be mindful when he starts to jump around.
His big attack starts when he is half dead. He will get on his hind legs and have a big aura of fire around him. When you see him do this make sure to just roll back a few times to be out of the damage area.
Now a few other things of note. All bosses will have infinite minions spawning at all times so you can get more ammo from them if you run out. Now I would recommend taking them out first so you don't get hit in the back while focusing on the boss. Second thing I want to mention is that Singe has a weak spot on his chest. It's the yellow spot you can see from a mile away. Just keep hitting that and him when you can. Eventually he will fall netting you the achievement once the mission is complete.

Potentially story related, if Singe spawns in your world, then this cannot be missed. This is 1 of the 2 potential world bosses of Earth.
You can only unlock either this or "The Bigger They Are…" in a playthrough since only 1 of the 2 bosses will spawn per playthrough.

I don’t know how it will be after the next patches, but at this stage their randomness is like this - if in the first world there is a Scorching One, then in the fourth one there is a Totem Father, and if in the first one there is an Ent, then in the fourth one there is a Ravager. So if you restarted the world and the boss repeated itself, feel free to create a new one until you find the boss you need.

Secret loot - shoot off the tail
By DelvooD on 30 Aug 2019 13:59
Not quite like that, or not at all like that. I had an Ent in the first one, and a Totem one in the fourth. Simple, not connected to anything random.

One of the bosses of the Earth location.
The boss drops 2 types of loot:
For the sword, you need to focus the fire on the boss's TAIL and shoot it off during the battle.
It is important to remember that only 1 ingredient drops, depending on how you kill the boss.
