How to unlock the The Ultimate Weapon achievement in Remnant II - Definitive Guide
First, you need to defeat a boss. If you’re lucky, this will also drop a Boss Weapon In the form of materials. An overview of the possible weapons follows.
When you’ve obtained one, warp back to Ward 13 and talk to Ava to craft it. Then, talk to Rigs and select the Boss Weapon you want to upgrade. This will require materials like Iron, Forged Iron, Galvanized Iron, Hardened Iron, and Simulacrum all found through natural gameplay in the worlds you visit. Once your chosen Boss Weapon reaches +10, you will unlock this trophy.

Just a tip if you only have 1 Simulacrum and want the 2 achievements for upgrading a normal weapon from +19 to +20 and a boss weapon from +9 to + 10:
Once you upgrade a weapon to max immediately back out the the homescreen and close the game. If you return to your game, you will still have the achievement and the Simulacrum. Rince and repeat for the other achievement.

So, you’ve crafted one of the boss weapons and got Boss'n Up (the weapons of which I’ve included below), now all you need to do is level it up to level 10.
Levelling up a standard weapon is relatively easy (until level 20, that is) in Remnant 2, and boss weapons are no different. In fact, there’s less levels for boss weapons (they only go to 10), but each one is more expensive. To level one up to the max you’re going to need:

- 30 x Iron
- 35 x Forged Iron
- 35 x Galvanized Iron
- 35 x Hardened Iron
- 1 Simulacrum
- And a whopping 7,875 Scrap! Oof!
Some of the World Bosses and their weapons are:
- The Labyrinth Sentinel, who drops Conflux Prism at the end of The Labyrinth, which makes the Cube Gun handgun.
- The Corruptor, who drops Twisted Lazurite in The Great Bole (Yaesha), which makes the Twisted Arbalest long gun.
- Tal’Ratha, who drops Spiced Bile when you defeat it in Tal’Ratha’s Refuge (N’Erud), which makes the Nebula handgun.
- Nightweaver, who drops Cursed Dream Silks in The Tormented Asylum (Losomn), which makes the Nightfall long gun.
- Annihilation, who drops the Forgotten Memory in the Blackened Citadel, which makes Alpha/Omega gun.
Get one of those weapons, level it up to 10, get 2 trophies.

To upgrade a weapon by +10, you need 1 simulacrum.
It is also used to upgrade the relic, which is very important in the early and mid game.
At the time of receiving the platinum (35 hours), only 8 simulacra were found, including one that Cassandra sells. Based on the experience of several players and the average game timing, it seems that after pumping the relic to +5, it is better to take a break and spend the next simulacra on the improvements required for achievements.
