How to unlock the Bad Moon Rising achievement in Remnant II - Definitive Guide
The Blood moon is an event that can be active in Yaesha, marked by a reddish sky and big moon. If you're hanging about Yaesha, make sure to regularly check the sky for the moon since the event might have triggered.
Also, every time you travel to Yaesha from another location has a chance to trigger a blood moon, so you can just keep traveling back and forth from Ward 13 and keep checking the sky.
During a blood moon, there will be wisps flying around the village huts on Yaesha, and if you shoot them you will get a Blood Moon Essence that can be used at the altar to craft items. You can walk back and forth through a gold gate to respawn the wisps to farm them without losing the moon event. Since dying doesn’t reset the event, you can use liquid escape to quickly get back to the gate. Neither dying nor resting at a crystal respawns the wisps though.
The Blood moon altar can be found in The forbidden grove, the first area on the main path towards your objective, marked as a blue altar on your map. Just craft any item at the altar and the achievement is yours!
During the blood moon there are also special floors in certain maps that will open that’s needed to get

You can find the altar at The Far Woods as well.

You’ll find the Blood Moon Altar in The Far Woods in Yaesha, after defeating the Mother Mind in The Nameless Nest. As you reenter The Far Woods, you’ll have access to a previously locked off area, and straight ahead of you you’ll find the Blood Moon Altar.
Here, you can craft a number of items, whether it’s armour, an amulet, a ring, a new melee weapon and a special concoction. You’ll also be able to buy a rare material, the Faded Grimoire, from it, although it’s more expensive than the rest - this unlocks the material to create the Summoner Archetype, that’s why.
The Blood Moon Altar will take some serious rare materials to purchase these goods:

- Lumenite Crystals - Picked up from killing special enemies (mid-boss style enemies).
- Blood Moon Essence - Which you get from shooting the purple orbs flying around the sky in the Far Woods and nearby regions during a Blood Moon.
- Scrap - The game’s currency.
Craft one item - the concoction is the cheapest, but you may as well purchase the Blade of Gul melee weapon (for 10 Blood Moons Essence and some Scrap), so it counts towards Edgelord and Cutting Edge - and this trophy will pop.

In the first world, Blood Moon is sometimes rolled out. The moon turns red and the sky dark red. Then purple balls begin to fly around the world; by killing them, we get currency for the altar.

Most of them are around wooden buildings. There is a joke that if you find a secret door illuminated in red in these buildings, the lights will be reborn. Looks more like a bug
