Just work your way down to the pyramids region. After getting a mission complete the achievement will pop.

I will preface this by saying that I farmed everything in one session. First i focused the story mode quest so that the final portal showed up, didn't touch at all the Pyramid region, then when i just got the final story quest i focused on all the region specific cheevo, for this one i just cleared the fog and the conquered the region, easy peasy.
P.S.
I think is an achievement for conquering the pyramid region that's why someone got afther they clear the portal, but cause i was on the final quest and no other portals was on the map i did it with the first conquer mission.
