RESEARCH and DESTROY

Either start a new game until you randomly get the Plasma Thrower or research it. Once you've got it make sure you are on the Hot Plasma Configuration by pressing RB until it says Hot Plasma on the bottom right. To fly hold only the RT and use the left stick to navigate. It takes 15 full 8 second turns for the 2 minutes needed for the achievement to pop. Watch out for walls and archways, they hurt when you slam into them and you lose seconds getting back up.
