How to unlock the Not So Big Man On Campus achievement in RESEARCH and DESTROY - Definitive Guide

This unlocked for me when I got a troll to spawn during a defend mission (may be random). I never actually killed the troll, just kept him alive long enough for the mission to end so the detonation killed everything in the map (including said troll).

You can dashboard out of a defense mission to essentially relaunch the mission with a new enemy lineup. A troll can spawn during the very first attack wave of a Tier 1 defense mission.

This is how it unlocked for me as well. Troll spawned on very last supernatural turn so I never even got a hit on it.

Just a heads up that I actually had to kill the troll before time ended for this to pop. I previously had a troll attack the university and didn't kill it before the attack ended but the achievement didn't pop for me.

I have never been able to get a troll to spawn when my universities are attacked...
