Update 01/29/2024: So much has changed since I wrote this guide. You can buy the "All Items DLC" to pretty much run past all the enemies while using infinite / bonus weapons. But, if you want more of a challenge or you don't want to spent real money, here are some of my tips.

This achievement is not as bad as you may think compared to other RE games. You'll need to complete Leon Kennedy history in less than 3:30 hrs playing in Standard or less than 2:30 hrs in Hardcore (don't bother with this one unless you want to stack other achievements).

Leon history is more focused on action with a little section where you play as Ada Wong. Claire's path differs since she's babysitting Sherry so it's a bit slow paced. I did this in 1:43 hrs approximately.

Tips:
- Play "A" Scenario for Leon, which adds 30 minutes more than "B" Scenario.

- You can use the Infinite Knife (if you already destroyed all Mr. Racoons). This knife is very useful with bosses like Birkin 1G and Super Tyrant.

- Use the Flamethrower on Birkin 2G, it's super easy and simple to down him and use the crane.

-When fighting Birkin 3G, you'll want to use (again) the Flamethrower, normal grenades and flash grenades too.

-If you already have an infinite ammo weapon you can use it (since it will not affect on your final rank). Although, the only one you can have (besides Infinite Knife) will be the Samurai Edge pistol [if you completed Claire's story on same requirements]. If you don't have any, don't worry, it's not that bad if you try in Standard.

-You can save all the times you want, since it will not affect your final rank. If you want to get S+ rank, then you'll have to save up to 3 times, but we only require S rank, so it's okay if you save 20 times. You'll only need to worry for the time counter.

In case you need it, here's a video from UhTrance. He managed to complete the A scenario in 1 hour 20 minutes approximately playing on Hardcore, using three weapons: the shotgun, the flamethrower and the classic Matilda pistol.



If it's the first time you complete a Standard history on "S" rank, you'll be awarded with an infinite ammo weapon "Samurai Edge", which has 15 bullets per magazine. That weapon is considered as one of the lowest damage in all the game, but it has infinite ammo, so it's not that bad.

In this video guide I will be going through Leon's A story on standard and getting an S rank in it. Now in order to get an S rank on standard you need to beat the game in under three and a half hours. Which is plenty of time especially if you already know what your doing. The only real problems in the game are going to be a few lickers and bosses. Just follow what I do in the order I do it and you will be fine.
