How to unlock the A Bloodline Severed achievement in Resident Evil 4 - Definitive Guide

This trophy is storyline related and cannot be missed. Near the end of Chapter 2-3 you'll take a long tram ride and shortly there after you'll approach a barn where you'll finally have your vengeance against Bitores Mendez. Defeat Mendez to earn this trophy.

Bitores Mendez isn't as hard as your previous encounters would have you believe.

Fighting
Keep Bitores at a distance and shoot his spinal column. If he gets close enough he will grab you, so stay away as best as you can. Once he's taken enough damage his body will split into two. He will now move around by swinging from the support beams. A shotgun blast will knock him to the ground; or you can move to the upper levels and utilize a blind spot in the right side corner, Bitores won't be able to hit you but you will be able to shoot him.

Towards the end of chapter 2-3, you will approach a barn. In this barn, you will fight the village chief, Bitores Mendez. First, you must input a combination to dodge, press + or +. It is best to keep him at a distance and shoot his spinal column, once he's taken enough damage his body will split into two. He will swing around the beams now and if he gets near you he will grab you. A shotgun blast will knock him to the ground, so you will have a few seconds to keep shooting him.

after going through the “two paths” the next thing is Bitores Mendez, run to the merchant (he will be just in front of the location where Bitores Mendez is located) if it doesn’t sting 30,000 then buy an rpg and that’s it.

but in general it’s better to have two at once, because... at the first shot, the lower part of his body will be torn off, and then the morbidity will begin... so while he is on his feet, throw grenades, shoot in short, do whatever you want, because he is slow as a turtle (while he is on his feet) and then shoot the floor of his body with an rpg (if you want).

ps I did without the rpg, it’s already easy), but the rest are not so much.

On the first playthrough, the easiest way to kill him is like this (without endless attempts to glitch him) - 1 grenade launcher, 1 max-pumped Mauser (50 rounds in inventory). We win the QTE, turn 180 degrees. and run to the stairs. We get up and turn towards the boss again. We shoot at the barrel on the lower right. This will stun him and he will not hit with the tentacle while we run to the right place. On the right on the second floor there is a side with a hole in the bottom. We run towards him and stand so as to aim down through the opening. After we blow up the barrel, the boss will come right under our shelter. We shoot at him with a Mauser. On average, about 45+ rounds and the legs fall off. After the cutscene, we stand right in front of him and there are a couple of seconds. Just a treat with a grenade launcher. You don't have to worry too much about the money. On your first playthrough of the game until the last boss, you will max out your Mauser, Striker TMP, Sniper, and Magnum. You’ll have to think for yourself about the expert, I spent it on a Stryker (100 rounds of ammunition were very useful on a trip and when escaping, where you could break a wall with a ball) and a revolver, NOT a killer 7.

As I already wrote in one of the tips, if you are completing the game on the “Professional” difficulty level, then it is extremely necessary for you to save ammo, especially for powerful types of weapons (it is even recommended to save the rocket launcher if you have purchased one).
